treating you well because of Ian. To be honest, they are people who would treat people above them well and people

Both of them sat in silence for a while before the makeup artist suddenly said, “I saw a news article that said you
have been together with Ian for a long time. It seems like you guys met before he even started working in this
industry.”

the wrong thing here. The reason I agreed to date him in the beginning was because he was a responsible person,
and such a person would not throw a relationship away just because he got slightly famous. Hence, it is normal that
he didn’t ditch me and it’s nothing to be surprised about.”
The makeup artist let out a light laugh, as she did not expect Cindy to be so blunt.
After shooting a glance at the latter, the makeup artist asked, “Are you always so headstrong in front of Ian?”
Cindy merely twitched her lips upward as she said in a lukewarm tone, “Are you so curious about our affairs?”
With that, the makeup artist shut up.

When they walked into the room, they took the initiative to greet Cindy and treated her respectfully.

Even best friends would get into arguments because of profit, let alone friends who were only made halfway in life.
After some time, Cindy looked at the time, as she was unsure when Ian would be done with work.
Hence, she got up and walked out of the makeup room.
At that moment, the filming crew were going about their jobs. When Cindy paused in the corridor to listen, she
could hear some sounds coming from the film set where Ian was.
