Two days later, at Southern Haven Villas, Kevin reported the progress to Zach, “We found out that the people who

Zach sat by the bedside. He held her hand and played with her long hair near the ear with his other hand, “You’ll be
fine. I’ll wait for you to wake up. You’ve come through the hardest part. You’ll be fine this time.”
Margaret brought a water basin, “Mr. Jardin, you should rest. You’re still sick.”
The bandage wrapped around Zach’s neck had already been removed. His wound had gradually healed, but it
would leave an indelible scar.
With Zach’s care, Madelyn’s fever had subsided on the second day. The rashes on her body had also faded a lot.
When she woke up, she saw Zach sleeping next to her. He was holding her hands and pressing against her body. His
