Shoop! Shoop! Shoop! Shoop!
Disappearing and appearing in several different places, it was clear that Austin had applied his Diabolic Flashing Skill to avoid the
attacks. Running backwards, he pulled out his sword and activated the Dominant Spiritual Sense Swordsmanship, meeting the
strikes of the halberd with a loud clash. Each tAustin swung the sword, lights from it entered the point of the halberd and its
blue light becfainter.
The sound of metal on metal rang through the battle ring. All the spectators’ heads followed in synchronization as the two fought.
From the spot where the two weapons clashed, a gleam formed. From the gleam, countless blue dragons rose and fell to collide
head-on with the sword-lights. Tiny, bright sparks appeared as they both disappeared in puffs of smoke.
With sparks flying everywhere, the vital energy force was bound to touch them. And when it did, it lit up the air, causing
explosions.
The ground shook and the air was filled with smoke. Giant holes and cracks were made in the heavy stones that constructed the
battle ring. Many of the crowd had run to take cover elsewhere.
Luckily, there were many defense arrays set on the battle ring to protect it from the impact and the warriors’ skills. The ring would
be demolished otherwise and the two would be fighting on ruins.
"Well, this is more impressive than | expected,"
Austin commented. Even though the young man was his opponent, he couldn't help but praise him for the effort he was putting in.
Austin gritted his teeth and pushed his sword forward. He only had to hold on a bit longer.
Once more, Austin thought about how the warriors in the Divine Continent were stronger than those in the PrMartial World.
If he were in the PrMartial World, Austin could easily kill a warrior at the Semi-emperor Realm with his Dominant Spiritual
Sense Swordsmanship. Perhaps it was because the warriors there used a vital energy force that had a weak base compared to
Austin's strong one. They were only capable of mastering low-grade martial arts. Also, the magic treasures they owned were
mostly low-grade too.

If this young man were to travel to the PrMartial World and bring along his halberd, which was a high-grade primeval magic
treasure, it would shock everyone there and they would surely attack him to steal it.
Those warriors would not even know what to do with a high-grade primeval magic treasure. They would have seen nothing close to
it in their whole lives.
Most of all, this battle had made Austin cto terms with the fact that he was not as skilled of a warrior as he had thought. In the
bigger world, he was even with everyone else or even below them. His Dominant Spiritual Sense Swordsmanship could not save
him here.
If he wanted to survive and cout on top like he was used to, he would have to get more creative. There were so many skills
lying dormant in his brain, if only he could reach in and dust one of them off...
"You've fought well so far, warrior, but let's see how much longer you can take it!"
the young man shouted, wielding his halberd without stopping to catch his breath and pressing Austin into the corner of the battle
ring. When Austin's back hits the wall, an unexpected smile spread on his face. The young man narrowed his eyes and pushed
harder, forcing the power of his halberd down on him.
He knew what he was doing. The skills he was using against Austin could defeat any warrior at the premium stage of Semi-emperor
Realm, so how could a mere warrior at the preliminary stage of Semi-holy Realm not have fallen by now?
He clenched his jaw and let out a low growl. Austin did not flinch.
‘Alright then. It looks like that I'll have to turn to the Spiritual Pot for help again, '
Austin decided, sighing.
Without hesitation, he whispered the order to the pot under his breath. The Dominant Spiritual Sense Swordsmanship continued to
battle the halberd without him as he leaned down and tried once again to communicate with his elixir field.
The little Spiritual Pot started vibrating, making Austin breath out in relief.
And after it had quivered a bit, it disappeared from the Omnipotent Pot. Austin looked around while his other powers died away.
Seconds later, the pot appeared above the young man's head, and it began rushing towards his Soul Sea.
"How dare you use the spiritual sense attack against me? You really have a death wish!"
shouted the young man. His face had turned a dark shade of red. Instinctively, he looked up and saw the pot coming for him. Like a
puff of smoke, his powers stopped and he dropped the halberd on the ground next to him.
Boom!
To counter the attack, he unleashed waves of powerful spiritual sense to meet the Spiritual Pot, attempting to prevent it from
getting any nearer to his Soul Sea. Austin smiled once again.
The young man's powers were no match for the pot. It continued to inch closer.
Then, with an ear-piercing, tearing noise, the Spiritual Pot punched through the wall of defense like it was tearing through a piece
of paper. Through the crack, the young man could see the pot breaking into his Soul Sea and he scrambled, searching his pockets
for something to defend himself with. He pulled his hands out and they were empty. The pot, without hesitation, went straight to
his spiritual soul.
"l yield! You win!"
The young man announced, falling to his knees and placing his head in his hands. He knew that if the pot got any further, he would
die. There was no amount of pride worth upholding over his life.
Once the words had left his mouth, there was a vibration coming from his Soul Sea. He froze and stared at Austin, who was still
standing in the corner of the battle ring.
It was like the pot had understood him. When he had said the word "yield", it had stopped in its path. It waited in the Soul Sea for a
couple of moments before it reversed out silently. Austin had given the order for it to stop just in time. The young man's spiritual
soul might have been completely destroyed if he had reacted any later.
"Thank you for sparing my life,"

the young man said to Austin and breathed a sigh of relief. His face had turned pale and his hands were trembling. Austin nodded.
"You are welcome,"
Austin replied with a bright smile. It was only a battle and this young man was not Austin's real enemy. He might have said some
things that made him angry but Austin did not plan to kill him. He only wanted victory.
"If it had been based only on fighting capability, | don't think | would have lost this battle. In case you didn't notice, | had pinned
you down and was about to win.
Your spiritual sense attack was too sneaky. | wouldn't have surrendered if you had fought fairly,"
the young man argued, looking Austin straight in the eye.
"You are right, except for the spiritual sense part.
There is more to a battle than fighting skills. A warrior must be able to master powerful spiritual sense and use it well, don't you
think? So, one way or the other, you have lost,"
Austin answered, still smiling slightly.
"Well, that makes sense," said the young man.
Austin noted that the young man's face had softened after hearing his words. He had to remember that not all warriors had the
training and experience that he had.
"You are a good warrior. | hope we can meet again soon. As friends, you know? Not in a battle ring like this,"
he replied in a quiet voice. It seemed that Austin's opinion on fighting had convinced him. Perhaps he would go on to learn more
about the spiritual sense. The young man nodded at Austin and then turned and walked out of the battle ring.
"He sure is an interesting guy,"
Austin said to himself, staring at the young man's back as he retreated. When the young man was out of sight, Austin applied his
bodily movement skill to leave the battle ring, too.
