High in the sky, a few figures flew through the clouds. They all moved in a fast forward motion.

The old man along with Austin and the other two fellows left the capital of the Solamnia Kingdom. They flew away to the north.

After flying around straight for about half a day, they faced a vast range of mountains. It appeared as if it was rolling endless in their visions. And from tto tthey could hear shrill roar of monsters and diabolic beasts transmitted from the forests below their feet.

They ignored all these roars and kept flying forward.

A few moments later, the old man suddenly stopped. He stood in the mid-air for a while and then turned around slowly to look into the sky.

"Hah! Hah! Hah! They really 'care' about a old and sick man like me.

Well. That's fine.

If that is the case, I will not let them down," the old man said coldly, with a sneer at the corner of his mouth. A trace of fierceness emitted out of his peaceful eyes. There was even a faint killing intent from his expression.

The old man moved immediately, in order to fly down to the earth. After he landed on the ground, he started rolling up and down across the mountains.

Austin had been observing the old man keenly. He found out that the old man was not moving in a straight line but rather crossed the mountain back and forth. He seemed as if he was painting a complex picture amidst the mountains, with his feet as brushes and the earth as his canvas.

There was something which had added up more to his surprise. He found out that when the old man galloped on the ground, his feet had radiated out a scintillating burst of light, leaving a clear white band of light on every route that he passed by. Austin had thought that the light would disappear in a while, but it persisted to glimmer for a long time.

That might be an array! The idea hit Austin's mind like a thunderbolt! It seemed so strange because a regular array was usually drawn only with the help of tools. Immersed in a pool of thoughts, he then becaware that the old man was setting up a mysterious array on the mountains which were located further down.

But then, there was something peculiar with the way how this old man built the array. Wherever his feet had trodden on the ground, he had left a series of lines crossing the ground. The lines then formed a complete array system.

This style of setting up an array was so bizarre. Austin had never even dared to imagine such a thing.

The old man's speed was absolutely substantial. He had galloped back and forth over a distance of two to three kilometers within a really short time.

With his fast movement, a number of brilliant white bands of light started shining in a dazzling way across the mountains. They had reached an extremely great height that they could see a mysterious and exquisite pattern formed from the ground.

"Done!" At last, the old man stood still, uttering one word softly. He had stamped his right foot on the ground at the stime. "Buzz!" Austin was still floating in the air. He immediately felt a very slight and strange sense of rhythm transferring from the ground below.

Within a moment all the white lights among the mountains disappeared immediately and completely. The whole world was calm again, as if nothing had happened.

The old man moved again, the next moment he was standing on the top of a mountain.

"Cdown, all of you," the old man demanded.

Without any second thought or hesitation, Austin took Caroline's hand and made a gesture to Tyler who was floating near them. And then, all three landed next to the old man.

"You three, just stay on this mountain. No matter what happens, don't walk around," the old man requested again.

The old man sat down and closed his eyes. He didn't wait for them to give any response. He looked as if he didn't even want to talk to Austin and his pals.

Noticing his silence, Austin felt embarrassed to ask for the reasons. He had to stay with Caroline and Tyler. Austin decided to stand beside the old man.

Tyler on the other side, was gazing into the distance from tto time. A hint of indignation was visible on his face.

About half an hour passed by.

The old man suddenly opened his eyes and stared at the space somewhere high in the sky.

"Since you're already here, you can just show up. Is it fun to hide in this way?" the old man said coldly.

The tkept passing by. It seemed like an eternity.

The mountains were filled with clusters of rolling clouds. It was eventually replaced by black clouds covering the sun and spreading across the whole sky. The whole world bectenebrous. It felt like an apocalypse.

"Mad Old Man, hand over that thing to me. You know what I mentioned.

I don't wish to fight with you and spoil my friendship with you," a low voice emerged from the sky in the east. They stared at the place where the sound had cfrom. However, there was no sign of anyone being there.

"Yes, that's right. Your FlHoly Land has been disappeared for more than 1, 500 years. There is no point even if you possess that treasure.

Why not give it up, and you will live in peace from now on. You are not destined to have such a hard life being chased and killed," someone said from the west.

"Mad Old Man, the FlHoly Land is already over. Why are you still hooked to a nonexistent will? Do you want to reconstruct the FlHoly Land? Ha-ha, that is never going to happen! All the major clans and sects of the East Mainland would thrash you to pieces.

I advise you to forget this naive thinking." There ca voice from the north.

"Mad Old Man, just give us an answer. Hand it over to us! Is it a yes or a no? After that, you can live a peaceful life and stop fiddling around and doing meaningless things." Another voice transferred from the north.

Voices cfrom all the directions. But there was no sign of anyone being there. All that they could see was the endless clouds rolling high in the air.

"Hah! Hah! Hah! You dare to chase me. I might be an old and mad man. But why do you all hide in the sky? Don't you have the courage to reveal your location? Are you afraid of the revenge from an old man? Needless to say, you all intend to rob the sacred treasure of my FlHoly Land. You all deserve to die! If f you really have any guts, just cand let's fight," the Mad Old Man suddenly looked up to the sky and laughed evilly. His sound echoed in the whole world and rolled out to all directions.

"Then, a mighty and terrible sense suddenly emitted from the Mad Old Man, rushing up to the sky. Aumber of thick and tense vital energy force shot upwards strongly, appearing like a long river. It also esembled snakes and dragons oiled together, generating huge ower flying up to the sky. Content elongs to englishAustin stood aside, viewing such a mysterious scene and could not help but showing his admiration.

The Mad Old Man looked like an ordinary old man and no one could even cto notice his strength.

However, when he revealed his strength, Austin knew how strong he actually was and the scared powers he processed. "FlEmperor! Have you found out to what extent the strength this old man process?" Austin asked the FlEmperor in his Soul Sea.

"I cannot recognize it. Anyway, this old man is much stronger than the South Marine Saint who took your two fiancees," the FlEmperor said, shaking his head. Even he was unable to know the level of this old man.

"Humph! I realize how stubborn you are. You are probably going to die soon!" a loud snort cfrom the east, echoing in the sky.

"Boom!" Purple fog, like a vast sea, rolled over from the eastern sky. It soon occupied the whole sky and blocked the sun. The power contained in t was so strong that it could almost oppress the souls of people, pressing it to tremble continuously. Suddenly, the purple clouds formed into a purple giant. It stood tall around a thousand meters high. The giant cover to the mountain_ where the old man and Austin were located. It brought huge power together, containing the power from the sky and the earth, as if it represented God to deal with humans. Austin was dumbfounded to see such a magnificent scene and the strong momentum.

Once the giant trampled down, the whole ground would be destroyed!
