Austin understood why they responded that way.
But since he had decided, he just smiled to himself and offered them no explanation. 'What else should I tell them? I can't tell them I have a vital energy stone, can I?' Austin thought about it hard. There was no way he would let other people know that he had a priceless treasure-a vital energy stone.
He then walked quietly to a corner and sat down cross-legged. He focused his mind and spirit and started to cultivate.
Swoosh! A vapor formed by the spiritual energy surrounded Austin from all directions. He seemed to be floating on a cluster of clouds.
A strong spiritual energy penetrated every cell in his body. It entered every bone and muscle.
Austin felt that the spiritual energy entered his body even though he did not practice the Golden Sun Scripture.
"This brat is so arrogant," the thin man said in an angry tone.
A young man in purple reached Austin in a flash.
"We don't wish you evil will, boy. We asked you to leave for your sake. We don't want you to fall on your sword.
The spiritual energy here is too much for you to take. If you insist on cultivating here, you might explode and die," the man in purple admonished Austin.
"Thank you for your concern. Please don't worry. I know what I am doing," Austin replied politely.
He could tell that the people inside the palace meant him no evil will.
Austin closed his eyes and started the cultivation process.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"This is ridiculous. He does not understand what he's doing.
Young people are too arrogant nowadays. Everything is an adventure for them. They don't even know what they're doing. He is putting his life at risk.
I think we should throw him out.
Otherwise Elder Brendan will blus for doing nothing if anything happens to him," the thin man continued, glaring at Austin.
"Wait up.
I figured he is quite positive. He seems to know what he's doing.
What if he can indeed survive the enormous spiritual energy here? We'd better not disturb him. It will ruin the process of cultivation if we get in his way.
How about we stay here to guard him? If things goes wrong, we can save him right away," the man in purple proposed.
"If you say so," the rest of them agreed after shesitation.
They sat down somewhere near Austin. They were not near enough to disturb him, but near enough to watch if something would go wrong.
Swoosh! The third golden ball rushed out of Austin's body and circled above his head.
It continued to hover above Austin head.
Then the dense spiritual energy in the hall started rushing to the golden ball.
Meanwhile, the spiritual energy continued to enter his skin until it penetrated every cell in his body.
Austin was enveloped by the visible spiritual energy. The four to five cultivators who were guarding him could not see his face without the aid of their spiritual senses. All they saw was a vague figure of Austin as if he was covered in a thick grayish smoke. 'It feels creepy!' Austin thought, suddenly terrified.
He felt a large amount of vital energy enter his body and it frightened him.
Each energy meridian inside his body swelled quickly because of the spiritual energy that flowed through his body.
All energy meridians continued to swell at a tremendous speed, as if they would burst any minute.
Austin's body grew bigger. His face, limbs and chest swelled up like an inflatable doll.
If this continued, all the energy meridians inside Austin's body would explode and kill him instantly.
"This is not good. His body is swelling up at too much speed! We need to do something now!" the man in purple shouted in panic.
At that moment, Austin communicated with the vital energy stone in his elixir field.
There was silence in the air.
The vital energy stone started working its magic. The atmosphere started to calm down.
All the vital energy inside Austin's body clustered towards the vital energy stone as if they had found their home.
The enlarged energy meridians went back to their original state.
It started with his face, then his limbs, until all of Austin's inflated body becsmaller and looked normal once again. "Guys, look! He is getting better," the young man in purple exclaimed, delighted with what he saw.
Everyone was stunned and just stared blankly at Austin.

Even Emperor Realm cultivators would not risk cultivating here," the thin man said in utter shock.
The people who surrounded Austin stared in disbelief. They were pulling each other's arms, afraid that the nan in front of them was a monster jay Austin's body was back to normal as he concentrated on his cultivation.
"Now that we know, the spiritual energy here can't hurt him, we can get back to our cultivation.
Looks like Elder Brendan brought an exceptional genius," the young man in purple said.
He and the other people went to their own corners shaking their heads. They could not concentrate on their own cultivation for the scene of Austin's transformation still bothered them. At this point, Austin focused on cultivating.
The aggressive, pure spiritual energy continued to run through the energy meridians in his body.
The golden ball above his head grew bigger. It seemed to gain power its lin and was giving off flashes of lights in the air. 'Wow! It is great to cultivate in such a place with so much spiritual energy, ' Austin thought gladly.
Tpassed by unknowingly to Austin.
He had no idea how many days had already passed since he started on his cultivation.
Meanwhile, four people sat together on a lavished hall somewhere outside the valley.
It was on the top of a towering mountain, within the base of the FlHoly Land.
The old man who brought Austin back sat in the middle.
"Elder Brendan, have you decided to send our disciples to collect herbs in the Wild Herb Valley?" a man about forty years old asked with a frown.
"Elder Brendan, stop sects from the East Mainland will be sending their disciples there to pick up herbs.
The other sect leaders of the East Mainland have their eyes on our inherited treasure.
What if they hurt our disciples?" another elder asked, worried.
