"Get them!"
the boy yelled, giving chase to the school of fish.
Austin hurried to keep up with him.
With his spiritual sense, Austin could tell that while the fish were small, each and every one of them was potent. Lightning crackled
around their bodies, sparking rolls of thunder audible from miles away.
The powerful creatures triggered devastating tremors in their paths.
The fish were extraordinary creatures rarely encountered in many universes.
Austin certainly never cacross them in the universe he lived.
Boom!
The places where the little fish passed rattled with energy. The impact was overwhelming.
"What manner of creatures are these?" Austin wondered aloud in awe.
The fish continued to increase by the hundreds, their combined energy reaching unimaginable levels.
But the boy's rapid approach spooked them, causing them to flee.
"Wait! Cback!"
The boy started to pick up speed. Waves of formidable space-tpower rippled beneath his feet. It was a terrific sight to behold.
Whoosh!
The boy propelled forward at frightening speed.
In a flash, the fish were within his reach. The boy grabbed at them.
Boom!
Lightning bolts as thick as mountains shot down from the sky; so plentiful it seemed as if doomsday had come.
These lightning bolts crackling with aggressive and formidable power surged toward the boy and Austin.
Austin made a quick motion with his fists. Two treasure pots emerged from thin air, acting as barriers for him.
Meanwhile, the sword-lights, each with the energy of twenty thousand swords' attack, also flowed around Austin, shielding his
entire body.
Despite all of the said means, Austin was unable to withstand the hit when it came.
Bang!
The lightning bolts struck Austin, sending him flying. The surge of electricity left his skin charred and sooty, his hair standing on

The little boy, however, was unscathed. A fog of scarlet light enveloped his small frame.
As soon as the lightning touched the glowing scarlet fog, it bounced back immediately without causing any harm to the boy.
"Little fish, don't run away!"
the boy continued to call out, as if nothing had happened. He rolled up his sleeves and resumed his chase. Space-tpower once
again roiled around his feet, shooting him forward with impressive speed.
"Got it! | finally caught two!"
the boy announced, triumphantly clutching a fish in each hand.
"Hey, chere and hold onto these. | want to go get more!"
the boy called out.
"Hold them?!"
Austin sputtered incredulously. These little fish were obviously producing and summoning lightning. That kind of power shouldn't
be trifled with.
Austin was still wrapping his mind around the boy's request when he realized the boy was already in front of him, placing the fish in
his hands.
"Hold them tight, now! Don't let them escape!
They're cunning little creatures. If we lose them now, who knows when we'll cacross them again?"
the boy explained.
Before Austin could react, the boy had run back to get more fish.
Boom!
Austin was left in a load of trouble.
The fish in his hands struggled, roaring with thunder. Enormous force and momentum emanated from their bodies and dashed
towards Austin.
Lightning bolts started raining down from the sky again; all aimed at him.
Austin could already feel the oncoming surge would be so powerful that it would tear his body apart.
Suddenly, from deep within Austin, the six deities raised their heads and roared at the stime. This was his body's defense
mechanism. When Austin was in mortal danger, the deities within him would wake up and protect their master. And they could feel
the incoming threat to him now.
The six deities rushed out of Austin and loomed above him, utilizing all kinds of secret martial arts to parry the lightning.
Austin likewise exerted all the physical strength, vital energy power, spiritual sense, and law power he could muster to withstand
the lightning strikes.
He was soon left with no recourse but to tap into his bodily movement skill and run away as fast as he could, trying to evade the
electrical charges.
"Little boy, how long do you need? | think we should stop now. This isn't funny anymore!"
Austin called out to the boy, as lightning chased him and zapped him repeatedly, making swirls of green smoke rise from his skin.
"In a minute!"
the boy yelled back, distracted.
‘Damn it! | swear | will never catch fish ever again!"
Austin cursed in his mind as he remained on the run.
Luckily for him, it didn't take long before the boy caught two little fish again.
Soon after, the entire school of fish also disappeared without a trace.
"Aw, man. Too bad | just caught four,"
the disappointed boy said, sighing as he trudged back to Austin.
"You're finally done!
That's great! Here's your fish. You can have them back,"
Austin said in a rush, eagerly handing the two small fish back to the little boy.
The boy must have had sspecial magic, because as soon as the fish were in his hands, they stopped struggling and kept still,
as if suddenly losing all their strength.
The lightning ceased raining down from the sky too.
The sky above was now clear and cloudless.
"What?! How is that fair?!"
Austin whined, throwing up his hands in helpless defeat.
He had to admit the little boy never failed to surprise him.
"I'm treating you to sroasted fish!
It'll be delicious,"
the boy promised cheerfully.

Austin pointed out doubtfully.
"No, it'll be good! You have to try it!
Cwith me!"
the boy said.
They traversed the broken universe for what seemed like a long tbefore the boy led Austin to a large canyon emitting smoke
from below.
The smoke cfrom huge cracks in the ground at the bottom of the canyon.
With his spiritual sense, Austin detected a torch of white flroaring and dancing beneath the cracks, deep under the ground. He
recognized what it was at once.
"The Unearthly Fire!"
Austin exclaimed.
