Austin trudged along at a seemingly sedate pace. Since he activated the Omnipotent Lightness, he managed to cross hundreds of
thousands of miles with a couple of steps. In a span of a few seconds, he was outside the impressive wrought-iron gate of the
Yaksha Palace headquarters.
"Huh?
| did not expect you to be here, as well.
Do you plan on takingdown together? Is that it?" Austin had raised his voice but he was surprisingly calm and collected. He
carried himself confidently, and he spoke with such impregnable conviction.
"Cover here, and I'll let you meet your maker," he added. He clasped his hands behind his back, his hair tically flowing
with the cold breeze of the wind.
Austin stood there, brimming with confidence, ready to take anyone who decided to chis way. His eyes sparked of passion and
fury, an inferno that was more than his heart could manage.
He was assured with the power he possessed. With his current capacity, he had nothing to fear since he could even take down the
strongest masters at this rate.
After his bold declaration, the whole Yaksha Palace was lulled into silence.
It was poison to them; the eerie dead stillness was a cruelty Austin inflicted upon them. He smirked.
"You are so arrogant!"
Finally, the owner of the Star Island broke the tension. He gritted his teeth in vexation, unable to believe that a person would have
the audacity to challenge them all in this manner.
"Don't you dare address your superiors this way, Austin, you will deeply regret it,"
the leader of the Heavenly Palace warned.
"I have to admit that you are a truly powerful warrior," the leader of the Yaksha Palace acknowledged.
"But for you to actually fight against us all? You're just digging you own grave, you cocky bastard.
Know your place, Austin."
Every word he spat rained down on Austin like a grenade. On the outside, the leader of the Yaksha Palace may seem like he was
seething in anger and deeply offended with Austin's bold move, when in reality, he was actually pleased that Austin showed up and
brought the fight with the masters. This way, he didn't have to face him on his own.
With him alone, the leader of the Yaksha Palace didn't think that he could take down Austin—he was too formidable.
But if he teamed up with so many masters against Austin, he thought that the odds would be in their favor.
"Young man, you're giving yourself too much credit. You've let pride get the best of you," a thin, middle-aged man added. He spoke
in a low voice, as if warning Austin to surrender while he still had the chance.
Like the rest of them, he was also dubbed as one of the best masters in the universe.
The other masters kept silent but their eyes flashed with indignance and anger, much like lightning on a pitch black night.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAustin looked controlled and unbothered. Even at the face of the strongest cultivators in the universe, he remained unfazed. In
fact, there was even a hint of glee and excitement in his eyes. He tugged his lip upwards creating a sinister smirk on his face.
'They are just slightly weaker than the leader of the Sword Palace, ' Austin thought proudly.
He had managed to take down the Sword Palace's leader. Therefore, he wasn't afraid of any of them.
His capacity had already reached their level.
And Austin had never been afraid of the cultivators of the sdegree. He would take pleasure in taking them down.
"Ha-ha! You jerk, do you think | can't do anything just because you have someone behind your back?
Trust me, your plan will terribly fail. I'm going to exterminate you once and for all."
A chill ran through the spine of the leader of the Yaksha Palace as he heard Austin yell. He would never let it show, but he felt his
blood ran cold, and a bead of sweat dripped down his face.
"Humph! Austin, you are too arrogant! How dare you chere and threaten to murder our leader?
You are weak. Do you really think that you are unstoppable?" Sensing that the leader of the Yaksha Palace was stunned in silence,
an elder beside him thundered in fury.
"You're really asking for it. | will take you and throw you into prison. In there, we will torture you in all ways possible.
You'll learn to know your place and you'll finally see what a huge mistake you've made by crossing the leaders."
The elder's bellows reverberated like a clap of thunder, such was his rage.
He was a reclusive elder, and he had a status as high as the leader of the Yaksha Palace had.
Unable to contain his vehemence, the elder screamed and attacked Austin.
Before he could even reach his target, he vanished into a yellow smoke surging from his body and transformed into a strange
creature.
It was colossal—it spanned into a hundred thousand feet tall and soared into the sky, casting a shadow to everything below it.
It had a fearsdragon's head with eyes that could turn skin into a sickly pallor, and in the python-like body, its claws could
lacerate even the sturdiest material to mere ribbons of flesh and bone. It moved at an astonishing speed, leaving a trail of a yellow
smoke in its wake.
"It's the ancient sky-devouring python!" Aghast, one of the spectators was taken aback at the sight of the appalling creature.
"Legends say that there is a reclusive elder in the Yaksha Palace that possessed such massive power! He has the blood power of
the ancient sky-devouring python.
He is that elder!"
Audible gasps and whispers could be instantly heard to everyone who stood witness to such a tremendous sight.
'The ancient sky-devouring python is a legendary, powerful magic beast.
The elder possesses the blood power of the ancient sky-devouring python. He must be incredibly powerful!" They all thought that
Austin's fate was sealed as they all saw the spectacle of the legendary creature.
"Go to hell, you brat!" A thrumming cfrom its jaws and nostrils, and wisps of smoke.
It pounced at Austin, and opened its mouth as if it could devour the world.
Compared to the enormous beast before him, Austin looked frail and diminutive.
"He has the blood power of the ancient sky-devouring python, huh?" Austin murmured. There at the corner of his assumed
frightened face was actually a crease of amusement.
Then, he slowly stretched out his hands, as if he was doing Tai Chi.
In that instant, a huge circle appeared around Austin; on his left was absolute darkness, as pitch-black as the starless skies, and his
right was the kind of white that seared into your retinas and made you temporarily blind.
With scales like the most delicate of armor plating, two fishes made its way in Austin's circle, one black obscure fish and one white
bright fish, swimming around in it.
Austin's hand moved forward lightly.
As he did, the vast circle rotated rapidly, and it flew towards the creature at an astonishing speed.
The two forces collided.
Bang!
An instant later, there was a blinding flash, like sheet-lightning.
The creature's mouth had exploded, leaving it into a cloud of blood mist above the ground.
In just a single move, Austin had killed the legendary reclusive elder of the Yaksha Palace, and he even destroyed his soul along
with it.
Austin remained unabashed as if this was an expected outcome. He had his hands behind his back; his jet black hair flowed with
the wind. His face barely concealed glee; there was a triumph in his eyes, and his mouth twitched upwards in contempt.
He stood there, absolutely unruffled, as if nothing had happened.
The crowd was washed with confusion and surprise. They couldn't believe it—the powerful elder was defeated in just a matter of
seconds.
The masters who witnessed such a display of power felt a lump in their throats. They felt discouraged after they realized how
powerful Austin had become.
'l can't believe he is this strong.’
The leader of the Yaksha Palace gulped. He felt large beads of sweat fall down on his forehead.
The reclusive elder who just perished in Austin's hands had been a master in the Yaksha Palace for generations.
He knew that he couldn't take down the elder in a single strike. How could he even fight Austin at this state, who could easily do so
in a matter of seconds?
Watching the death of elder made the Yaksha Palace leader fear him even more.
"Austin, you are too cruel. You kill innocent people without even hesitating."
The leader of the Yaksha Palace was seething in anger.
"Ha-ha!

You can't stopwith your moral ascendancy. You know you're finished." The smirk grew over Austin's face, turning into a full-
blown wicked smile.
He was itching to take down the Yaksha Palace's leader. But before he could attack, the leader of the Heavenly Palace leader
stepped forward.
"Austin, the corpse soldiers of the underworld are haunting our universe. Instead of fighting against each other, why don't we join
hands and fight the invaders together?
It would be best if we just talk this over and think it through.
What do you say?"
The Heavenly Palace's leader had his lips in a grim line. He awaited Austin's response.
"With your strength, you're qualified to be one of the leaders of the Universal Allied Army. Join us in fending off the corpse soldiers.
It's not wise for us to fight right now,"
another master added.
Their minds were sent reeling when they saw Austin kill the elder without even breaking a sweat; they thought that turning him
into an enemy was going to be their demise.
"In the past, the Yaksha Palace kept on assaultingand the Immortal End World. Why didn't you stop them and speak for us back
then? Stop offeringan alliance if it only works in your convenience.
Now I'm trying to get even with this old bastard, you are lecturingas if | am doing the wrong thing.
| always stick to my principles. If anyone tries to provoke me, I'll make sure that they'll pay the price!
Since you all decided to take his side, you can fighttogether.
| don't mind killing you all."
Austin's knuckles turned white from clenching his fists too hard. He gritted his teeth as he tried to stop himself from annihilating all
of them right there. He exuded an animosity that was like acid—scorching, penetrating, potent.
"Austin, we've already given you a choice, but you turned down our kindness. Do you really think you can defeat us on your own?"
Annoyed by Austin's brazen attitude, the owner of the Star Island cursed him continually.
"You got any problem with that? Chere, and I'll kill you."
Austin's voice was low and dangerous, as if he was a predator ready to pounce on his prey.
