With a flick of his hand, Peterson the Taoist Ancestor pushed the Heavenly Majestic Pot toward Austin.
It suddenly dawned on Austin what the gesture meant.
"Sir, are you giving this pot to me?"
he asked, both incredulous and pleased.
The pot wasn't like any other magical treasure. It grew intelligent after years of refinement and cultivator, and now it possessed its
own soul and thus had infinite power.
Austin knew just how precious it was.
"That is correct. | shall even help you refine it,"
Peterson said with a faint smile.
"No way, you old bastard. This guy already has tons of treasures!
Let someone else get lucky, for once!
| object!"
the suprholy tree grumbled.
By that time, the sea of stars had already quieted down.
Even the two elders of the Divine Sect were already long gone, having fled in terror.
A voice piped up, "I'm warning you, boy! Don't you dare try to be my master! I'd only end up killing a weakling like you, including
your spiritual soul!"
The pot was now growing agitated after realizing that Peterson did mean to find a new master for it.
Its old master died a long tago. It had enjoyed its freedom all these years so much that it was now reluctant to go back to a life
of servitude.
It also thought highly of itself because it was different from other treasures. It was miffed at the idea of having to serve this boy
who was only of sect ancestor level. How could such a weakling be the owner of such a rare magical treasure like itself?
Austin was undeterred. "If such a lousy man could control you before, why can't I?"
he sniped back at the Heavenly Majestic Pot.
"Are you ready to refine it, though?"
Peterson asked Austin with a smile.
"Absolutely, sir,"
Austin replied with a determined nod, completely ignoring the pot's threats.
"Well, then.
Let's get started,"
Peterson said.
"I'm serious, kid!
You don't have the strength to refine me, let alone to control me!"
the pot insisted.
After it continued to be ignored, the pot tried to change its tactic. "Hey, boy! This isn't worth it! There are so many wonderful
things in the world. You're still blessed with youth. Why not cherish life and just let this go?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe pot was getting really worried now.
No matter how much it threatened, negotiated, or pleaded, Peterson and Austin paid no attention to it at all.
With a wave of his hand, Peterson extracted the soul of the pot and suspended it in the air.
"Release your spiritual tree,"
Peterson directed Austin.
He had found a spiritual tree in Austin's Soul Sea before, which was why he was convinced Austin had what it took to be able to
refine the pot.
Austin released the spiritual tree at once.
The spiritual tree was now hundreds of thousands of meters high, spanning from earth to sky.
With the guidance of Peterson, the spiritual tree stretched out its branches, gripped the pot and dragged it over.
The pot struggled desperately, but its energy had already been sealed by Peterson. It was impossible for it to escape.
As the refining process commenced, the spiritual soul of Austin was badly injured several times because of the pot's stubborn
resistance. Even for a few times, his spiritual soul almost exploded and scattered.
But each tthe situation bectoo critical, Peterson would cforward and help Austin through the difficulties.
The spiritual tree, too, protected Austin's spiritual soul. Despite the risk, he was safe and sound all throughout.
It took about an hour for Austin to successfully finish refining the pot.
He waved his hand. The pot fell into his hand, body and soul merged back together.
Austin already had the power to control the pot with his mind.
Austin marveled at the surge of power from the pot.
He couldn't help feeling stunned by it even though he had becits owner.
"You brat! How can you be so cruel?!"
The pot was so aggrieved that a pouting old face emerged on its surface, looking like it was about to cry.
"You should start calling'Master',"
Austin warned, giving the pot a threatening look.
Now that he controlled the pot's very soul, its life or death was completely in his hands.
Of course, the pot also knew this.
No matter how valuable it was, it was still, in the end, a magical treasure, completely subject to control once refined.
Knowing that didn't stop it from complaining, however. "I can't believe | ended up here! Leader of the Divine Sect! I'm your sworn
enemy!"
the pot continued shouting.
"Be quiet,"
Austin ordered, using his mind. Seeing the pot's expression, he was both irritated and amused.
The pot suddenly began to feel like the sky and the earth were spinning. It lost its balance and almost toppled over to the ground.
"Alright, alright! | surrender! You can stop now, little master!"
The pot had to concede. It knew very well that it was completely at the mercy of others. He would never admit that out loud,
though.
"Cheer up. As long as you remain loyal to me, | promise | will find a way to restore your full body and strength.
And | always keep my promises,"
Austin told the pot.
The pot scoffed. "You think you can? With your puny abilities?"
The pot remained skeptical of its new master.
"Well, if you don't believe him, believe in me.
| already have all the materials needed to repair your body.
But | won't hand them over to you now.
| will give them all to this brat when he is able to do the repairs by himself.
As for whether he'd still be willing to help fix you by then, that would be up to him,"
Peterson informed the pot, smiling.
"What, really? You have the materials?"
The pot couldn't help but feel surprised and hopeful.
"Of course. Don't tellthat you think that I, the Taoist Ancestor, lack any treasures from heaven and earth?"
Peterson answered, his eyes twinkling.
"Of course not!
"Fine. If this brat can really helprepair my body and restore my strength, | will take him as my master!"
the pot pronounced.
For centuries and centuries, it had been dreaming of restoring its body.
But now, it finally had the chance! The thought made the pot grow less resentful of Austin.
Peterson turned to Austin. "I have no doubt you'll be in charge of maintaining the peace of the universe in the future, brat,"
Peterson told him with a faint smile.
Austin scoffed incredulously. "Me? In charge?
| can't even defeat a genuine immortal, sir!
And now both the underworld and the Divine Sect have them.
They'll likely be sent to killin the future.
I'm afraid | may not live up to your expectations. Or even just live,"
Austin bemoaned.
Peterson had to laugh at Austin's bewilderment. "Don't worry. | will help you make rapid progress,"
he said reassuringly.
"Lad, this old bastard thinks highly of you and wants to train you.
He is asking you to be his disciple.
You should call him master now!"
Sherman pointed out, correctly reading Peterson's mind.
"Damn, you brat! What good luck you have! The old bastard sees potential in you!"
the suprholy tree chimed in, impressed.
When Peterson the Taoist Ancestor was in his prime, there had been countless outstanding people from different great universes
begging to be his disciples.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmNow, here he was, actually taking the initiative to offer to be Austin's master.
Austin was humbled beyond words. "Master! It would be my honor to be your disciple,"
he declared, bowing in gratitude.
He knew being the disciple of such a powerful man would prove a great advantage to him.
"Well, in that case, | warmly welcyou as my disciple,"
Peterson responded, nodding sagely.
"And as my welcgift to you, | shall give you these nine drops of Celestial Star Water.
| will help you integrate the nine drops of Celestial Star Water into your Mysterious Magnetic Mountain. It will allow you to kill
genuine immortals easily, like shooting fish in a barrel.
Moreover, the Heavenly Majestic Pot could easily defeat genuine immortals.
You no longer need to worry about being inferior to them."
With a wave of Peterson's hand, the Mysterious Magnetic Mountain in Austin's body flew out and fell onto his palm, ready to be
integrated with the Celestial Star Water.
"Thank you, master!"
Austin was overjoyed.
It was at this moment that Ervin, accompanied by three of his commanders from the underworld, barged into the small world
where the Celestial Palace was located, arriving at the shore of the sea of stars.
"Ah! The people from the underworld are here."
Peterson laughed.
