"Hey, let's go!"
Otis led the three out of the room.
"What's up? Where are you all going, Otis?"
A strong man, who they recently met, suddenly appeared.
"Magee, these three are going to attempt the trial. I'm just going to accompany them,"
Otis said cheerfully.
Magee was one of the most honest and kind-hearted divine gods who they met after arriving in the Fallen Divine Valley.
He didn't plan to take advantage of the three newcomers, unlike other greedy people in the area, say Bill.
Fortunately, before Bill could do something bad to the three, Otis recognized Tyrone and immediately saved them.
So, Austin and his friends had a good impression of Magee. They all pleasantly greeted him.
"Really? You're going to the trial now?
Then I'll go too and cheer for you!
Besides, | don't really have anything to do either," Magee insisted.
"That's fantastic! It will actually be a great help if you joined us."
Otis was relieved. He was glad that they had one more divine god on their side.
After all, all the divine gods living in the palace were in alliance with each other. So, it was not unusual for them to accompany
each other when they went out and did stasks.
"Oh, the three of them are going to take the trial today? You cfrom the splace, right, Otis?
They sure are brave and must be excellent in martial arts.
I've actually been cultivating in my room all day long and I've gotten so bored.
| think I'll take it quite easy for today and join you guys for a change of pace. Besides, | want to see how these three would fare in
their trials."
They were surprised when another voice emerged in the middle of their conversation.
No one even knew when Bill had appeared. They just realized that he was standing in front of them when he spoke.
As a medium-grade divine god, his bodily movement skill was outstanding within his peers.
"Bill, when did you—"
Otis instantly becwary and stared at him with caution.
Austin, Ingram, and Tyrone were also caught off guard that they slightly took a step back.
"Hey! Hey! Don't be so nervous. | know we started off on the wrong foot, and | must apologize. | didn't know that the three of you
were from Otis's hometown.
But now that | knew everything, | won't dare to do anything. | swear!

Besides, Otis and | are allies, which makes the three of you my allies too. So, | hope that all of us could bury the hatchet and you
three could forgive my rudeness from before,"
Bill explained with sincerity.
"Well, that's nice of you Bill,"
Magee said in relief.
"Yes, of course! I'll make it up to you guys,"
Bill replied with a big smile on his face.
Seeing Bill's earnest attitude, Otis calmed down and was also relieved. He decided to let go of all the misunderstandings and start
anew.
He thought that Bill was right and they were allies. They shouldn't quarrel within themselves because several other factions would
definitely take advantage of them if it went on.
In the end, Otis allowed Bill to go with them.
Before they left the palace, four other divine gods also asked them if they could join and watch the trial of the newcomers.
Otis had no reason to refuse, so he quickly agreed.
After all, a larger group would mean that they were much safer. A lot of divine god alliances were just around and might be plotting
an ambush, so it was much better to have a greater number of forces.
Furthermore, the mountainous area where they were going was famous for various kinds of assassinations and robbery. They
needed to be extra careful while treading into their destination.
With that, their entire group left the palace and headed directly into the depths of the mountains.
The whole mountain range was just too vast.
Huge mountains crawled and extended into the horizon like giant dragons. They interwove with each other to form huge labyrinths
on the ground.
In fact, the countless mountains were the only thing that they could see around them.
In each of the mountains, thick primitive forests stood among them. They covered the entire mountains. These thick forests were
also the reason why the area was a good spot for an ambush. A group of cultivators with good bodily movement skills could easily
hide here and launch a sneak attack on their targets.
Even powerful divine gods must be careful and slow down their pace when trying to fly over this mountain range.
Moreover, a mysterious law power existed in these mountains that could drag a person towards the opposite direction of their
destination. One could be easily lost if he wasn't careful enough.
Led by Otis, all of them flew towards the core area of the mountain range at a steady pace.
Along the way, Austin still saw countless palaces spread over the mountains.
Each of these palaces was inhabited by several powerful divine gods.
Obviously, they were also trapped here and couldn't leave.
Eventually, an hour passed.
They were still far from their destination but something unexpected welcomed them.
"That's as far as you can go!"
A roaring sound was suddenly heard.
Dozens of unfamiliar figures rushed over out of nowhere, like rabid arrows. In an instant, they were blocked and unable to proceed.
"Ha-ha! | knew it!
You brought us a rather interesting treat!"
A bulky man in a blue robe strode over and glared at Austin, Ingram, and Tyrone. His eyes were so savage, like a wild beast
drooling for its catch.
Otis and the others knew instantly that the man was a medium-grade divine god.
Then, another three medium-grade divine gods cover. They all stared at the three newcomers with a piercing gaze.
In addition to the four medium-grade divine gods, there were also dozens of preliminary-grade divine gods who were behind them.
They formed several layers to block Otis' group from moving forward. All of them wore wicked smiles that easily stated what their
intentions were.
"Lucian, what do you think you're doing?
These three are my men.
If you dare lay a finger on them, you'll be in great trouble. | assure you that," Otis uttered calmly but the aura from his eyes was
already surging with anger.
He then slowly stepped forward and stood in front of Austin, Ingram, and Tyrone.
He was determined to protect all of his companions, especially the three newcomers.
"You three, this is a rather unfortunate turn of events, but | need you to be extra careful. Lucian is notorious and known for his
cruelty and cunning behavior.
Their group is composed of ferocious people who rob others of their cultivation resources.
Over the years, they gained their reputation for assassinating and ambushing several people. They had far too many victims to be
even counted."
Otis secretly sent a message to the three behind him through his spiritual sense.
"Ha-ha! | can't believe how smart you've become, Otis.
Such a brilliant idea!
You approached them and made them believe that they were your allies?
And when they all trusted you and put their guard down, you'll swoop in like a vulture and take all of their treasures and resources,
right?!
Well, guess what? We're one step ahead of you, Otis.
We can't possibly let you have them all to yourself. Don't be so damn selfish!
Anyway, you have two choices.
First, you can hand over those three fat sheep, and we can share all of their treasures and cultivation resources to everybody here,
including you and your other companions. Obviously, that's the better option.

We all know that those three have just entered the Fallen Divine Valley. That means that they still carry a lot of treasures and
cultivation resources with them.
If you would cooperate, everybody could get a portion of it."
As Lucian was mentioning the probable treasures and cultivation resources that they could acquire, he couldn't help licking his lips
as his eyes gleamed with greed.
It was pretty basic to discern that before someone would enter the Fallen Divine Valley, he would try his best to bring as many
magic treasures as possible, in case he might need it.
That was why Lucian and his group were pretty sure that they could get a lot from Austin and the others.
"Now, for the other option, you know it's the stupid one. If you insist on protecting those three fat sheep and claim them as your
men, then we've got no other choice."
Lucian's eyes becmore serious. A vicious aura could be felt in the air as he continued speaking.
"Are you really threatening me? Don't push your luck, Lucian.
It would be too late for you to regret and beg for mercy once | lost my patience."
Otis fired back in a tough and cold tone.
He wasn't threatened at all. After all, he used to be one of the four famous marshals of the Heavenly Court. His fighting power once
made the whole three thousand big and small universes tremble.
It was actually a foolish move to threaten and go against him.
"Ha-ha! | thought that you were smarter than that, Otis!
| even gave you the chance to pick the better option, but you still chose the stupid one! If you're so confident, then letsee how
powerful you are!"
Lucian challenged Lucian as he burst into devilish laughter.
At the stime, many other divine gods that were residing in the mountains already noticed the uproar. Sof them had come
over to clearly watch what was happening, while sjust stayed at their palaces and perceived the commotion through their
spiritual sense.
"It turns out that the three newcomers have been targeted by Lucian and his group.
They're an unlucky bunch, but they deserve it."
Not surprisingly, most of the onlookers showed interest in the developing turmoil and were rather pleased of the misfortune that
befell on Austin and his two companions.
"What are you waiting for? Go and catch those three fat sheep!"
As soon as Lucian waved his hand, seven preliminary-grade divine gods immediately rushed over and attempted to surround
Austin, Ingram, and Tyrone.
"Fuck off, small fry!"
Otis roared and instantly released a tremendous divine aura. Overwhelming energy suddenly gushed out like a raging tidal wave
and crashed at the preliminary-grade divine gods in a violent momentum.
"Ha! You think that's enough to take us down?!"
Lucian sneered while rushing forward. A devastating gush of force burst out of his body as he rolled towards Otis.
