"I'm Sousa, the owner of the second pagoda of reincarnation, and one of the guardians of the road of reincarnation.
| hereby record a part of the secret martial arts skills I've cultivated all my life, and my comprehensions from countless years of
cultivation on the first floor of the pagoda. This inheritance awaits the one who is destined to claim it.
Whoever inherits this power also inherits the responsibility to watch over the road of reincarnation for as long as it needs a
guardian.
For this purpose, | leave my inheritance here."
In that moment, the sound of a deep, rumbling voice was heard,
and a lofty figure appeared in Austin's Soul Sea.
Austin quickly spoke up. "Sir, rest assured that I, Austin Lin, will guard the road of reincarnation for as long as | can.
| have taken this duty as the successor of the reincarnation race,"
he said clearly.
As soon as he stopped speaking, as suddenly as it had appeared, the enormous figure disappeared.
In the following days, Austin began the task of comprehending and cultivating the inheritance recorded on the first floor of the
pagoda.
He soon learned that much of the inheritance left by the god of chaos was related to reincarnation.
It included the law of reincarnation, and a variety of martial arts skills and other secret and omnipotent skills derived from that law.
Austin found something that caught his interest imnmediately—the Reincarnation Sword Skill.
With this skill, once a sword strike was launched, tand space could be reversed. That was an awesand terrifying ability to
possess.
Austin decided to focus on cultivating the Reincarnation Sword Skill.
Tpassed, but Austin ceased to notice.
For a year he cultivated, then two years, then three more.
Before he knew it, decades had passed.
Without warning, Austin opened his eyes one day.
It had been thirty years since he first accepted the inheritance.
'l finally have a thorough understanding of everything recorded on the first floor of the pagoda, and | have successfully cultivated a
part of them,’
Austin thought. He was pleased at his progress.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHe had now obtained virtually the entirety of the inheritance on the first floor of the pagoda of reincarnation.
However, something unexpected had happened, something which Austin had not even hoped to accomplish. After he had
comprehended the inheritance,
it seemed he had also established a vague connection with over thirty reincarnation slaves on the first floor.
These reincarnation slaves looked at Austin with meek eyes, as though he was their master.
'In fact, | am their master now," he thought.
He realized that he could control them with his spiritual sense. He could order them to do anything and they would obey, as surely
as if they were a part of his own body.
"Master!" shouted the reincarnation slaves,
who flocked to Austin. They stood in a row in front of him.
"This is great! What an advantage to have over thirty such slaves!"
Austin said with excitement.
His joy was well-founded, for each of these reincarnation slaves had a level of strength equivalent to that of a governing god.
Essentially, he had thirty governing gods lined up to do his bidding.
Moreover, more reincarnation slaves were waiting on the eight remaining floors of the second pagoda of reincarnation.
If he could subdue and enslave all those reincarnation slaves, he would have an army of three hundred governing gods ready to
obey all his commands.
What a magnificent and fearsfighting force they would make!
The more he thought about it, the more excited he became.
"I've had incredible luck!" he said aloud,
unable to contain a burst of laughter.
He decided it was tto proceed to the second floor of the pagoda of reincarnation.
He stood up. In a flash, he left the first floor,
arriving instantly at the entrance to the second floor.
Within seconds, a reincarnation slave rushed out to confront him.
"The pagoda of reincarnation is a sacred site! No outsider is allowed here without permission. Leave now or die!"
The slave was dressed in black. He held a long spear in his hand, and there was a murderous expression in his eyes.
This reincarnation slave exuded the strength of a governing god.
Austin snorted. "Cut the crap! If you want to fight, then fight!" he said.
Pulling out his sword, he lunged at the slave.
"Lettry my Reincarnation Sword Skill!" he yelled.
He slashed the air with his sword, and layers of the law of reincarnation spread out from the blade.
A wave of powerful reincarnation energy spread out.
The very fabric of space and tseemed to have been sliced by the sword. Everything becturbulent and chaotic.
Treversed itself, and the reincarnation slave, instead of rushing to meet Austin's attack, began to retreat.
The space around them splintered and shattered, the shards dislocating and becoming scattered.
But Austin's long sword stayed true. It swung forward until it struck the body of his opponent.
The reincarnation slave had no ability to resist or dodge at all.
He didn't even have any idea where and when Austin's sword slashed at him.
In this void, disturbed by the Reincarnation Sword Skill, tand space had been upended. There was no way anyone in the
vicinity could properly perceive the world around them.
The force of Austin's attack sent the reincarnation slave flying backwards,
like a kite with a broken string.
However, the reincarnation slave was strong, and his body was hard enough to resist the sharp edge of the sword. Winded but not
bleeding, the slave quickly jumped up, brandishing his black spear towards Austin.
"You're not going to make this easy for me, are you?"
Austin taunted.
He leapt forward again, swinging his sword.
After a lengthy battle, the reincarnation slave eventually grew tired. He no longer had any strength to fight back. Austin struck the
final, killing blow.
As soon as he was defeated, a second reincarnation slave rushed out of the entrance, and began fighting fiercely with Austin.
After a while, Austin defeated the second slave as well.
He heard a group of voices bellowing. "Kill him!"
His eyes widened as eight reincarnation slaves jumped out from the entrance, all carrying long black spears.
"Is this a war of attrition?
These guys are harder to kill than | thought," Austin muttered, lifting his sword once more.
His face was dark and thunderous as he began battling the eight reincarnation slaves, who all fought him at the stime.
With seffort, he defeated them. He watched with resignation as ten slaves emerged to continue the battle.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe couldn't keep track of how much tpassed as he fought the seemingly endless army of reincarnation slaves.
Finally, Austin defeated a horde of slaves, and stared at the entrance, waiting for the next wave. But no more reincarnation slaves
cto fight him.
"It's finally settled,"
Austin said, breathing a sigh of relief.
He stayed where he was, deciding it would be best to get srest before he went inside the second floor of the pagoda.
After stime, he walked in. The first thing he saw were the walls, which were densely engraved with all kinds of runes. He
moved closer, studying the symbols, and realized that all of them were related to the laws of reincarnation or secret reincarnation
skills.
He went to the center of the room and sat down, cross-legged.
He began the arduous task of comprehending the inheritance on the second floor of the pagoda.
"Anyone who obtains my inheritance must also accept the responsibility of protecting the road of reincarnation,"
intoned the god of chaos who once owned the second pagoda of reincarnation, his words echoing once more in Austin's mind.
"Sir, rest assured that I, Austin Lin, am to guard the road of reincarnation. | have taken this duty as the successor of the
reincarnation race,"
Austin said in a loud, clear voice.
Then the voice of the god of chaos went silent.
ery floor of the pagoda, in order to repeatedly remind whomever accepted
he road of reincarnation.
