There were more than nine thousand corpses! Among them were more than one thousand governing gods, as well as around eight

thousand ordinary divine gods and genuine divine gods.

They were all piled up in front of the entrance to the Ninth Floor, a gruesmountain of death that made all those who came

across it have the hairs on the back of their necks stand.

These bodies did however, still contain spowerful laws and energy within them.

The energy roared loudly for a while, and the laws emitted dazzling light at the Ninth Floor's entrance.

"What the hell is going on?"

"Why are there so many corpses here?"

"Oh no! These appear to be the corpses of our Ninth Floor's divine gods!

How are they all dead? What happened to them?"

The first crowd of people now rushed out and found the dead bodies packed densely together, floating in the air. They all gasped,

shocked and horrified to their core.

Meanwhile, inside the Ninth Floor, a casual conversation was taking place.

Bartholomew was speaking with the wizards of the darkness race as they leisurely walked out of the Ninth Floor.

"Ha!

Please, you can rest assured, wizards. If Austin is still close by, | will personally take care of him this time. No matter how strong

and capable he is, he is nothing beforeand he will not escape."

Knowing that Austin might still be nearby, Bartholomew was getting excited like he had never been before. He strode out of the

Ninth Floor together with the wizards, laughing heartily as he spoke.

"Since you're saying you'll deal with that brat Austin yourself, of course he has nowhere to hide.

Everyone knows how powerful you are,"

the wizards flattered with a smile.

It was well known that these wizards were very skilled at deduction and were all quite resourceful as well.

But they were not great fighters. They were relatively weak and were best suited for their roles as counsellors.

They were aware of this and knew that because of it, they needed to make friends with the famous masters throughout the

Absolute Space Sea. That way they could call on powerful allies for help whenever necessary.

Bartholomew was a renowned master in the Absolute Space Sea. Naturally, they showed him great respect.

They finally exited the Ninth Floor and the smiles on their faces were immediately frozen, their eyes wide and stunned.

They stared at the piles of dead bodies in front of them in disbelief, speechless.

"Aarrggh!

What the hell is going on here?

Who did this?" Bartholomew cried out in a rage.

He recognized at a glance that he was looking at the lifeless remains of his subordinates.

It wasn't long ago he sent his men out to track Austin down.

And yet, to his surprise, they were all dead, turned to corpses and stacked up in front of him.

"Someone answer me!

What the hell is going on?"

He was erupting into absolute madness now. His roaring spread far and wide, shaking sof the nearby space seas and almost

disintegrating them.

Scosmos even exploded to nothingness.

Countless innocent creatures died miserably from his terrible growl.

He was after all a suprmaster in the Absolute Space Sea.

He may not have been as strong as the Lords of Darkness from the darkness race, but he could kill ordinary gods of chaos in an

instant.

"You, chere.

Tellwhat happened!"

Bartholomew growled viciously at one of the governing gods standing around.

His aura was so fierce it almost blew the governing god to bits.

"Lord Bartholomew, | don't know what happened either.

| cout here to find them piled up, just as you did,"

the governing god answered cautiously.

"Loser!

You're useless!"

He slapped the governing god across the face and he instantly evaporated into nothing.

Bartholomew was fuming with a blazing rage. It seemed as though he might ignite the space and let it burn until there was nothing

left.

These dead men made up nearly a third of all his subordinates.

This was a massive loss to his forces.

Over the years, he had been adding so many recruits to his force and increasing his strength to be able to compete with the other

eight leaders of the TChamber Sect.

But now, with this loss, he had sunk to the weakest among the nine leaders.

How could he not be angry?

"Lord Bartholomew, hold back your anger for a moment.

Let us wizards deduce what has happened here,"

said one of the wizards calmly.

"All right. Helpdiscover who would be so bold to kill so many of my people,"

Bartholomew managed through a gloomy mask, doing all he could to control the anger burning in his chest.

The more than a dozen wizards of the darkness race immediately closed in around the corpses to decipher what had taken place.

Soon, they were able to find sclues.
