Xyla helped Daisie with her hair in front of the vanity. The royals invited Yorrick, and Xyla
needed to attend because she was his family member.
Not everyone was able to attend the coronation. Not only was it the first time for Xyla, but it
was also the first for Daisie.
“Alright! How are my braiding skills?”
Xyla picked up the mirror and stood behind her. Daisie saw her hair through the reflection
and smiled. “It’s so beautiful.”
“Of course.” Xyla put down the mirror. “I’m very proud of my braiding skills.”
After Daisie was fully dressed, she walked out while holding up her dress. She stopped a
server in the corridor and asked, “Do you know where Nollace is?”
The man pointed in a direction.
Daisie walked to the room where Nolalce was. She saw that the door wasn’t closed, so she
carefully pushed it and went in. Nollace was in his suit and stood under the light. The server
helped him put on his cape. It looked elegant and grand, like he was in a painting.
Nollace saw her through the reflection and waved for the man to leave them.
She snapped back into reality when he walked toward her and stopped in front of her. “Why
are you sneaking around?”
Daisie smiled. “To peek at you.”
“Do I look good?”

When the ceremony was about to begin, people filled up the hall. There were ministers,

Yorrick chatted with the guests holding a glass of wine, while Xyla spoke to the socialites
and aristocrats.
When the bell tolled, Diana and her husband, Rick Knowles, stood at the door. They were
both in court outfits, looking elegant and dignified. Standing behind them were Nollace and
Daisie, followed by Freyja and her father, Brandon.
Everyone’s eyes were on them. Even the members of the media tried to capture everything.
Diana walked to the archbishop and lowered her body and head. The archbishop held the
crown that symbolized the feats of the past, placed it on her head, then handed her the
staff of power.
The hall was filled with applause.
