Nollace patted his shoulder. “Get some rest.”

He took the photo and exited the ward. While he was walking, he ordered his bodyguard,
“Send more people to check the Taylors‘ butler. I want to know everything about him,
including all the monetary transactions.”
Since those people were hired, there ought to be some monetary transactions.
Since it was confirmed that he was Bart’s brother, everything would be easier.
Mia took a day off from Daisie and told her that she wanted to take care of her brother, who
had just regained his eyesight, in the hospital.
She waved at Daisie while smiling when she went out of the door. “I’ll come back tomorrow,
ma’am.” Daisie asked, “Do you need me to get someone to send you there?”

Mia left the manor with her bag on her back and in high spirits.
When she was walking toward the road, someone suddenly appeared behind her and

Mia slowly woke up and saw the two Mastiffs in a large metal cage in front of her and shrank
back in fear.
“Yo, you’re finally awake.”
Mia raised her head in shock and saw Cecelia come out of the dark with three other men.
The two Mastiffs locked in the cage constantly rammed into the cage, baring their teeth and
howling. Their drool kept dripping down to the ground, and they looked fierce.
Mia recognized her. “It’s you?”
Cecelia stopped beside the cage and looked at the two Mastiffs in the cage. She patted the
cage and said, “These two creatures have been starving for two days. We didn’t feed them
anything, so they’re very hungry right now.”
Mia’s face turned pale, and she shuddered. “What do you want from me?”
