He paused, then saw ‘pregnancy’ and looked up.
Cameron said, “I’m pregnant.”
Waylon put down his book and walked to Cameron. He suddenly picked her up and let her
sit on the desk with a smile. “It’s double good news. Awesome.”
Cameron looked at him. “Double good news?”
Waylon kissed her forehead. “Our wedding. I’ve decided to do it next month. Do you know
how long I’ve been waiting for this day, Cam? I’m very happy. Thank you for giving me a
family that’s my own.”

Cameron smiled and didn’t say anything.
When Nick came downstairs and saw her, he frowned. “Why are you here?”
Cameron paused and was curious. “I can’t even come here?”
Mahina spoke. “That’s not what he meant. You’re pregnant, so you shouldn’t have to come.”
