Selene’s POV~

| was stunned by myself. | never wanted to do it, but somehow his tears had shaken me. Without knowing, my

hand had gone up to wipe them away. The moment | realized, | quickly pulled my hand back. My face burned

with embarrassment.

| raised my eyes and forced my voice to be steady.

"Alpha, you are drunk. You should go and rest."

back against the chair.

their drinks and games. For a moment, | wished someone would stop me, take him away, so | could escape. But

no one came. Not even one person. fucking assholes.

So | dragged his heavy body step by step. The path toward the alpha quarter felt endless. Each step made me

more tired and more angry. He leaned all his weight onas if he had no care in the world.

| wanted to throw him down right there on the ground and run away. But | couldn't. If anyone saw, the result

would not be good for me.

At last, | reached the alpha quarter. | didn’t even care which room was his. | just opened the first door I could and

dragged him inside. His body dropped on the bed with a dull sound.

fingers closed tight around my wrist.

I froze.
