any response as she failed to hear what they were saying. The pain struck again and again

At that moment, everyone started to panic.
"Sir!" Yarl frowned. "What should we do now?"
Cranos took a good look to examine the situation Morticia was in. His face turned solemn.
"Oh no! From the looks of it, Lord Morticia must have been poisoned."
He quickly checked Morticia's pulse. The more he felt the more solemn his expression
became.
Looking at him, Yarl asked, "What's wrong?"
Cranos took a deep breath and said slowly, "Lord Morticia's situation is worst than I
expected. Moreover, she is pregnant for one month."
After that, Cranos sighed and couldn't hide his worry. "The poison has penetrated into the
fetus. The situation is not in favor of Lord Morticia."
What? Rage seared through Yarl and the disciples. Yarl punched a rock beside him with full
strength. "Damn it! How wicked is the South Cloud Empress? How could the Empress
poison Lord Morticia when she is pregnant?"
The disciples agreed with Yarl and all of them were angry at the Empress' doing.
"Alright!" Cranos waved his hand and looked at Morticia. "No matter how we must protect

Cranos took out a few Detoxification Pill and fed them to Morticia. The pill was specially
formulated by the Blanc clan. Even though it could not eliminate the poison in Morticia's
body, it could prolong her life for a few days.
Yarl stood quietly and looked. "Where should we go next, sir?"
Cranos looked around with disappointment. "We definitely could not return to Cloud Valley

"I have ordered you to foresee the parade of Morticia in the prison carriage. Did it end so
soon?" Quincy asked coldly.
Hugo swallowed his saliva. "Your Majesty, the parade was going so well until a group of
people disrupted it. Then a powerful elder appeared and injured me and rescued the
female demonic."
