Marvin approached slowly, flanked by his two guys. He asked as he examined Darryl from
head to toe. "Hey, kid, who are you? What are you doing here?"
Darryl took a deep breath, smiled, and said, "Gentlemen, I was just passing by. Please let
me go!’ He would have never acted so lowly in the past. However, he had no choice.
Marvin and his men did not look like they could be bullied. He had to think of a way to
escape.
'Passing by?' Marvin scoffed and did not say anything.
Then, one of his men said, "Marvin, we know nothing about this guy. Let's just kill him so
he won't expose our location." The man was called Coleman Hardy, Marvin's right-hand
man. They were spooked after getting ambushed at the river. Even though Darryl posed
no threat to them, they decided to kill him so that he could not expose their location when
people from the two sects found him.

people. I have nothing against them. Why do they want to kill me just because I saw them

Marvin took a deep breath. He looked sinister as he considered Coleman's suggestion. Just
as he was about to speak, he heard laughing and chatting around from the outer area of
the jungle. It was Ronny, Selina, and everyone else.
'There are others here?' Marvin's expression changed. Then, he said quickly, "Bring him
and let's go take a look."
Coleman nodded and walked to that area. Darryl's hands were tied behind him. Two men
guarded him as they trailed behind Coleman. Darryl wanted to warn Ronny and the rest
with a shout, but he was too late.
At that moment, Ronny and the rest had not realized they were in great danger. They were
sitting on the grass beside the lake, enjoying the view and chatting happily.
"Where did Derrick, that inept man, go? Why is he not back yet?"
"Forget about him. He probably feels ashamed to stay here with us after Young Master
Cruz scolded him and left by himself." "You’re right. Forget about him. Let's just enjoy
ourselves."
Then, Marvin and his men showed up. Ronny and the rest were stunned. Selina was the
first one to react. She looked at Darryl. "Derrick, who are these people?" She could see the
vicious looks on Marvin and his men and knew they were probably not good people.
Before Darryl could answer, Ronny stepped forward, sneered, and teased him. "What did
you do now? How many troubles are you going to create, Derrick? What's wrong? Are they
here to settle your gambling debts?"
Ronny believed Derrick was only a gambler, and anyone looking for Derrick was a money
lender looking for his payment.
'What an idiot.' Darryl sneered and did not respond when he heard Ronny tease him. At
first, he wanted to warn them about the danger. He withheld it after witnessing Ronny's
arrogance.

"Shut the f*ck up!" Marvin frowned as he yelled out angrily. 'For god's sake, I'm the
infamous River Dragon, and how dare these imbecile rich kids look down on me.' He was
in a rage.
Ronny and the others were startled by his shout. Coleman and the rest of the men
instantly drew their swords and surrounded Ronny and the others when Marvin gave the
order.
'What's going on?' Ronny and his friends were shocked. It was then they realized they had
offended the bandits. They could tell that Coleman and the men were murderous as they
stood there with swords in their hands. They did not look anything like money lenders. In
fact, they looked even more treacherous than robbers.
After checking up on Ronny and his friends, Coleman and the men were drawn to Selina,
Sandra, and Mandy. They did not expect to find such gorgeous women in a small town like
Hidden Dragon Town.
"Marvin!" Coleman reacted and smiled at Marvin. "I think lady luck is on our side. Look at
those rich kids." His gaze was fixed on the girls, inspecting them while smiling obscenely.
