Chapter 5081

Half an hour later, Forsythe set out with an army of about thirty thousand men. They set

out in gusto, making a beeline for the Nine Continents in hundreds of huge ships.

Over on the Cryolet Continent, in the Pure Yang Division.

Sofia had spent all night in the pill-making room making pills and had fallen asleep.

Over on the second floor sat Darryl cross-legged, absorbing the energy from the Golden

Pill.

Whew!

Seeing that it was bright outside, Darryl let out a soft breath. He opened his eyes and got

up, going down to the hall on the first floor to get some fresh air.

Yet just then, a charming figure walked in slowly.

It was Gigi.

Gigi was dressed in a long white dress today that made her look absolutely ethereal.

What was she doing here?

Darryl was startled at the sight of Gigi, as he took in the view of her stunning curves

before his gaze landed on what she was holding.

All that could be seen in Gigi's hands were two steaming bowls of breakfast.

"Sect Master!"

Reaching Darryl, Gigi seemed to be slightly embarrassed as her face flushed, and she said

softly, "I've got you to thank for yesterday at the fighting tournament. I didn't know what

to get you, so I thought I'd make you and Sofia breakfast."

As she spoke, Gigi placed the food on the table.

Gigi's opinion of Darryl completely changed after what had happened at the fighting

tournament. She also no longer treated him with any of the arrogance from before, and

instead was nothing but gentle and kind.

On that note, Gigi had prepared for the worst after her treatment toward Andres. She had

never expected that Darryl would appear at the last second to help her out.

More importantly, Darryl did not have any powers at all but was able to defeat Andres to

the point of him begging for mercy.

Recalling what happened was still a rather exciting thought.

To Gigi, Darryl had protected her reputation as well as the Pure Yang Division's. This was

why she had made him breakfast and did not think much of the gesture.

F*ck me...

Darryl stopped short. 'F*ck, was this the same Gigi who had always had an air of

arrogance before this? She seemed to have turned into a different person overnight,

cooking for me and everything!'

At the thought, Darryl smiled. "That's awfully kind of you." Upon saying so, he picked up

the food, taking a bite of it.

Mmm... It was pretty good.

"How is it?"

Seeing Darryl eat, Gigi could not help but ask the question as her face flushed with

expectation. It was important to note that this was her first time cooking for a man, and

she was beside herself with nerves, worrying that it would taste bad.

Darryl flashed a smile, nodding in approval. "This tastes amazing."

Seeing Darryl's validation, Gigi relaxed in relief.

Whoa...

Just then, Sofia smelt the food and sat up as she rubbed her eyes. Her eyes widened at

the sight of the food on the table. "That smells wonderful!

Is there some for me, Sister Gigi?" "Of course!" Gigi could not help but chuckle. "Don't you

see I've brought two portions over?" As she spoke, she gazed at Sofia fondly.

Sofia had grown up in the Pure Yang Division and was firm friends with Gigi. Gigi saw Sofia

like a sister.

Sofia let out a little cheer at the answer, hurrying over and tasting the food before

bursting into approval. "This tastes amazing! If only you could send us breakfast all the

time, Sister Gigi."

Sofia was blunt with her words, saying whatever came to her mind.

At the words, Gigi blushed immediately as she scrambled to say, "In your dreams! I don't

have the time to be doing this every single day."

As she spoke, Gigi snuck a glance at Darryl, unable to hide her embarrassment.

In an attempt to avoid being seen, Gigi had gone out of her way to be extra cautious of

her surroundings when sending breakfast over. After all, she was the head pupil of the

division and still had her purity. The decision to send Darryl breakfast was one that she

had taken quite some time to mull over before making it.

She could care less if people saw her sending food to Sofia, but they might spread rumors

about her and Darryl.
