Chapter 1120 No Turning Back

Despite Olivia telling her to rest well, Jenny couldn't sleep all night. She was very worried

and afraid that something unexpected might happen. As Olivia had said, that was her last

chance in the near future. If Jenny missed the opportunity, she didn't know how long she

would have to stay in that place.

The next morning, when Evan's footsteps faded into the distance, Jenny immediately sat

up from bed. He was going out, just as Olivia had told her.

As the private jet took off, Jenny's nervous mood finally relaxed a little. She was at least

one step closer to success. Soon, there was a knock on the door. Upon opening it, there

stood Olivia.

"Don't waste time. Let's go!" Olivia whispered. She didn't have time to waste with her.

Although she was happy to see Jenny leave, betraying Evan also agonized her.

Jenny followed Olivia. She then hid in what Olivia called a large box. At least at that

moment, she was handing her life to Olivia. It wasn't that she trusted her to that extent,

but their current goals happened to be the same at the time.

In no time at all, Jenny could feel the box being lifted off the ground. She heard someone

outside the box ask, "Olivia, what's this?"

"How dare you ask me what's in there? My personal items are in there, alright? Do I have

to give you a list of my stuff?" Olivia chastised impatiently and unkindly.

The person dared not speak again. After all, everyone on the island knew that Olivia and

Howard were the two people Evan trusted the most. They wouldn't do anything that would

bring harm to Evan.

Jenny boarded the ship successfully in the box and breathed a sigh of relief.

As the ship started moving, Jenny knew she was gradually drifting away from the island.

She was excited but also nervous. She didn't even know if Alec had received the message

or whether he was even there. Everything was just based on her guesswork.

But now, even if it was just a shot in the dark, she had no way of turning back.

The ship sailed for about three or four hours and finally stopped. Jenny, who had been half

asleep in the box, suddenly felt unbelievably nervous.

Soon, someone lifted the box she was in off the ship and said, 'This is Olivia's."

Another group of people took over and carried her away. They didn't walk far before they

put the box down in a corner and opened it. The sudden brightness made Jenny

uncomfortable after being in the dark for so long. She didn't act rashly because those

people were all armed.

Sure enough, once her eyes adjusted to the light after she opened them, she saw the gun

in the person's hand pointed at her forehead. "Where's the check?"

It seemed Olivia had never intended to let her take the money. When she gave her the

check, she planned to take it back.

"So, Olivia is someone who doesn't keep her word, huh?' Jenny tried hard to stay calm and

buy herself as much time as possible.

The person sneered at her condescendingly, "Who do you think you are to deserve Olivia's

promise?"

Jenny pursed her lips. "I can give you the check, but you have to prepare a car for me."

"I'm afraid you haven't figured out the situation yet, Miss. Who said we only want money?"

The person laughed, and his two followers laughed too.

Jenny wasn't surprised by that. She anticipated that Olivia had no intention of letting her

leave alive. Her men didn't take action on the island because Evan would easily suspect

her. They waited until she left the island, and they could make their move in Duxdence.

Even if her body was found afterward, they could say that she escaped and was killed by

someone else.

What a cunning plan!

Unfortunately, Jenny wasn't a fool either.

"It seems that I won't survive." Jenny sighed helplessly with a hint of grievance.

The men didn't take her seriously, and it never crossed their minds that Jenny would

resist. To be more precise, Jenny was a weak and powerless woman in their eyes.
