Eric watched his son's departing figure and, for some reason, felt that his son had become

Alec didn't mind whether she made it herself or not. The fact that she brought him lunch
was enough to make him happy.
"Have you eaten?" he asked.
"I already had lunch at home with them," Jenny replied. She was referring to Graham and
Lynette.
Graham had insisted that Jenny come home for meals every day, claiming it would
strengthen their bond, but Jenny didn't see the need for that
