Chapter 492 Did She Offend You?
In the afternoon, Alec rushed to Bardoff City. This time, he didn't come freely but was summoned there
by Jenny. Ash was still in Parrington, but Jenny needed her in Bardoff City, so she asked Alec for a
small favor to find someone to bring her over. She just didn't expect him to come in person.
When Jenny saw him at the airport, she couldn't describe the feeling in her heart, but she was
somewhat touched.
"Why did you come? Couldn't you just find someone to bring her here?"
"I don't trust anyone else to handle it. Besides, bringing her over won't delay me much," Alec said,
shoving Ash into the car.
Jenny knew what he'd said about not trusting anyone was just an excuse. Alec came to Bardoff City
because he was worried about her. She didn't comment on it, but she silently remembered this kind
gesture.

Just as Alec was about to speak again to find out if Jenny had forgiven him. Ash spoke in
dissatisfaction, "Hey, can you two consider my feelings? Am I invisible?"
She felt hurt. Alec was gloomy the entire journey to Bardoff City, as if someone had owed him a lot of
money. But as soon as he saw Jenny, he immediately brightened up. Ash couldn't help but wonder if he
was sick.
Her interruption spoiled the great moment Alec had with Jenny, so naturally he was extremely
displeased. But since Jenny was present, he didn’t blow his top. He just glared at Ash coldly and kept

Ash shivered, suspecting she'd gotten herself into Alec's bad books. Jenny regained her composure
and coughed to ease the awkwardness.
"Let's go in."

The three of them entered the house. After Alec locked Ash in a room, he returned to the living room
and stood next to Jenny. "Did you ask me to bring her over because you intend to confront the
Walters?’
"Yeah. I met their daughter today and found her quite interesting." Jenny didn't deny it.
"Interesting?" Alec took note of her choice of words. He felt that ’interesting’ wasn't exactly a good word
in Jenny's vocabulary. "Did she offend you?" he asked, already thinking of a hundred ways to torture
Jolene.
