Chapter 849 Who Won?

Flint rolled his eyes at her and said, "As martial artists, we value the reputation of our

masters the most. Your defeating both Jonathan and Melissa successively has brought

great shame to us. My main purpose of coming here is to uphold my master's dignity!"

As for avenging Jonathan, it was secondary. In his opinion, Jonathan was inferior in skill,

and if he died, he could only blame it on his lackluster skills. Revenge wasn't strictly

necessary. But the problem was Jenny defeated Jonathan and then Melissa. Wouldn't that

mean Tywin Munster's disciple was stronger than Olanna Roy’s disciples?

Jenny thought, "How was I supposed to know that was what you were thinking? If you

come looking fortrouble, I can't just sit around and wait to get my ass kicked, can I?"

Melissa didn't expect Flint to harbor such thoughts, so she was immediately irritated upon

hearing his words. "Flint! Do you think you're the spokesperson for our master? Master

hasn't even spoken up yet, so why are you sticking your nose where it doesn't belong?"

"Master is naturally too busy to bother with these things. As your senior, of course I have

to take care of it." Not only did he have to take matters into his own hands, but he also

had to win against Jenny to uphold his master's integrity.

Seeing that the two of them were about to get into a fight, Jenny pulled Melissa aside and

said, "Alright, you wait here. I'll handle Flint."

"No, I have to help you! Let's beat him to the ground and defeat him completely!"

Melissa was all riled up and found Flint extremely annoying at that moment. The feeling

was mutual for Flint. If the situation allowed it, he would have taught Melissa a lesson first,

as she was too infuriating.

Jenny held her back helplessly. "Actually, it's normal for Flint to have such thoughts. You

keep watch from the side. I know what to do."

Putting herself in Flint's shoes, Jenny knew although she wouldn’t come looking for trouble

as he did, she would probably be unhappy about the damage to her master's reputation.

Since the other party came looking for her to settle the score, there was no harm in

duking it out.

Before starting, Jenny felt it was necessary to clarify something. "If I defeat you, will there

be other disciples who'll come after me?" If that were the case, she would have an endless

amount of opponents to deal with.

"Don't worry, regardless of your win or loss, no one will trouble you in the future," Flint

promised.

Jenny nodded, feeling relieved. "Alright then, let's begin."

Melissa was forced to stand aside and watch the two fight. She wasn't too worried, though.

Since it was just a fight between two martial artists, they probably wouldn't go for the kill.

At most, there would be some injuries, which were way better than what she had originally

anticipated.

Not far away, Jenny and Flint had already started fighting. Melissa was bored and took out

her phone. She’d found a very interesting last night, and now was the perfect time

to continue reading. However, she'd barely read a couple of chapters before someone

walked up to her and patted her shoulder.

"Stop reading. Let's go back."

Melissa snapped out of it and looked up at Jenny, who was in front of her, then at Flint,

who was standing not far away. She was quite perplexed. "Is it over?"

"Yeah, it's over." Jenny nodded.

Melissa was even more baffled now. The fight ended faster than her previous duel with

Jenny.

"Who won?" she asked.

"Flint won," Jenny stated simply.

Melissa looked at Flint and wondered, "Did he really win? Why doesn't he look happy

about it at all?"

As they were talking, Flint had already walked over to them. He looked at Jenny with a

complicated expression.

"Are you looking down on me? You didn't give it your all," he said, displeased.

Jenny waved her hands around in denial repeatedly. "Don't misunderstand. I was really no

match for you."

While it was true that she didn't go all out, it was because she knew that even if she did,

she wouldn't be a match for Flint. Since that was the case, there was no need to take

things too far; it was fine to stop after exchanging a few blows.
