Chapter 890 I Wish I Had Time for You Every Day

Alec couldn't be sure if her love had turned into hate. He wasn't even sure if Blake was the

one behind it. He had given his findings to the old man so that he could deal with it.

If someone in Faust Manor could be bribed that easily, was there any security in that

house?

Alec didn't think there was.

Zeke had the same idea as him when he knew someone in Faust Manor had been bribed. If

Watkins' people tampered with his food, he would die a hundred times over.

Before Alec came to see Jenny, a great inspection had occurred in Faust Manor. There were

probably many people who would be driven out.

As for Xavier's murder, by the looks of it, the Watkins would be blamed. It was their own

fault for interfering now.

"No wonder you had the time for coffee today,’ Jenny said. Alec was not only capable. He

was also extremely lucky at times. He wouldn’t have known who else to blame if it weren't

for the Watkins.

"I wish I had time for you every day, but I worry you'll think I'm annoying." He wasn't

taking her out just because he had time on his hands. He wanted to take her out every

day, but he was afraid she'd think he was annoying.

Jenny coughed. Anyone would feel embarrassed by such romantic words.

Alec smiled, sensing her awkwardness. "What about you? What happened today?"

Jenny sighed at the mention. However, she didn't hide it from him any longer. She told him

what had happened without expecting him to solve it for her. She just wanted a place to

vent.

Alec looked speechless once he was done listening to the story. "Is that it?"

"Maybe it's not a huge problem for you." Jenny pouted. Alec could lift a single finger and

earn millions. For someone like him, something like that was indeed minor. If she were to

reel off every insignificant issue people like her faced, it would take days for her to finish.

"That's not what I mean," Alec hurriedly explained, seeing she was about to

misunderstand him. "I meant to say this is an easy problem to solve."

"Really? How so?" Jenny was surprised.

"It's not a rare occurrence. Lots of big companies have started charities for patients like

this. Every year, they donate part of their investments to charities. They just do it for

different sectors. I could establish a charity to help families that desperately need funding

to pay their surgical fees. The charity would pay for them.’

Jenny thought it was perfectly reasonable, and she was in awe. She was not gifted in that

aspect at all. All that she had thought of was simply paying the bill herself. She had not

even considered starting a charity.

However, she had her worries. "Is that really feasible? Will the investors stop pouring

money into it?’

She wanted something that would work in the long run, not just something that would

exist to help a small number of people.

"Don't worry. The funds will never decrease. There will be people in charge of that. The

initial money invested in it will be used for further investments. The interest alone would

be enough to pay for the charity's daily expenses."

Their main target would be impoverished families that desperately needed surgery.

Certain criteria would need to be met. It wouldn't be for everyone.
