Molly stopped thinking about it after getting interrupted by Brycen.
After lunch, Molly went for another physiotherapy session with Sean. Then, she told him about her plans. "I don't
have any problems with what you proposed the other day. I'll work in the research institute."
"Sure. I'll get somebody to make some arrangements now." Sean lifted the edge of his mouth and put on a bright
smile.
Molly could not help but feel a little excited as she replied, "okay. I'm looking forward to that."
They stopped talking and carried on with the physiotherapy.
The next morning, news about the Jiin family continued to simmer. All the news companies were still talking about
it, and almost everybody in Northfolk knew what happened.
It was as though a bucket of water was knocked down, and the water spilled all over the place. It just could not be
undone.

Queenie immediately boiled with anger when she got the news in the morning.
'This is my house! How dare they search my house!'
She was so mad that she wanted to hang up right away. However, the person on the other side of the phone spoke.
"At this point, we don't hope to see you getting chased out of your own house and be on the news again. You know
very well that the media is watching you and your family like a hawk. You should just cooperate with US if you don't
want to have a difficult time for all of us. There's no need to cause a scene and stay on the cusp."
Then, the person hung up.
"Ah!" Queenie shouted at the top of her lungs angrily, sounding shrieky.
She could not control herself but throw her phone to the side, and it fell on the soft carpet.
She felt distressed as she grabbed her long hair, looking messy.
She had no idea when the boiling anger inside of her could finally be released.
'How could these people do something like this to us! We've been living in peace for so many years. Why are all the
bad things only happening one after another in these few days?!'
That person on the phone told her a lot of other things too.
All the assets owned by the Jiin family were temporarily frozen by the bank, including real estate.
The private hospital owned by the Jiin family was not exempted too. It already had a lot of problems surrounding it,
and due to excessive public pressure, the relevant department took over it before the investigation could end.
Her family was already very frustrated after how they had been exposed previously.
Now, a bolt from the blue came and struck right at Queenie.
She lay on the bed, feeling defeated and dejected. She could not even cry, and she was in despair.
The atmosphere around her was dead silence.
She had nowhere else to go. Her father was arrested, and her mother and she were the only ones in the house.
Queenie would always look prideful, bossy, and mighty, but all she had on her face was gloominess as all of her
previous expressions had disappeared.

She felt nothing but despair.
Then, she heard slippers tapping outside of her room. Queenie's mother, Gina, rushed to her room, she clearly
heard the news too.
There were still tears on her face as she looked at her daughter laying on the bed. she was heartbroken.
'How did our family end up like this?!'
"Queenie..." she walked to the side of Queenie's bed and softly patted her shoulder before she spoke.
"It's time to go."
The police officers were arriving soon. They would be chased out of the house by force if they had not left by then.
And, they would be charged with violating the law if they refused to comply with the investigation. The
consequences would be catastrophic.
It was really time to leave!
"Mom..." Queenie could not hold back her emotions anymore, she sat up and hugged her mom in her arms,
sounding helpless.
