Chapter 592

The supper was a bowl of soup noodles. It was bland and non-oily. To Molly who worked overtime, a simple bowl of

soup noodles was a delicious meal to her. It excited her appetite, she finished the soup and noodles very quickly.

After supper, Molly did not stay at Sean's place any longer. She wanted Sean to rest early. So, she went back to her

home.

Recently, the Anderson Corporation's social engagements increased. Although Sean did not need to go to those

social engagements personally, he was still very busy because of that. He did not even have the time to have a

meal with Molly.

Tony was also very busy because of Sean. He took a document from the marketing department for Sean to sign. He

also had some information for Sean.

"I heard that there'll be a banquet at the Anderson residence. It's probably for your father's birthday. Mrs. Anderson

has already sent out the invitation." Tony glanced at Sean.

Sean's expression did not change. He simply said, "Help me to prepare a birthday gift. You don't have to worry

about anything else."

He did not want to talk much about it. He then continued to work.

He knew exactly what the purpose of the banquet was. It was probably his mother's idea.

The Anderson Corporation's business had been steady. Their development prospect was great too. They did not

need further social engagement.

Extra activities were for Alice's sake.

The Anderson family's status in Northfolk was untouchable.

Countless people wanted to butter up and impress the Anderson Corporation. Normally, they did not have any

interaction with the Anderson Corporation.

But, when the announcement of the birthday banquet was out, people who wanted to get acquainted with the

Anderson Corporation would not pass up such an opportunity.

And, Sean having a hectic business schedule recently was the butterfly effect of the birthday banquet.

Of course, as a competent businessman, Sean would not pass up any business opportunity. That was why he had

been quite busy recently.

Alice's intention was even more obvious.

She wanted to find a daughter-in-law whom she liked, she had done a lot in the past 6 months. But, Sean did not get

together with either Abigail or Sharon as she intended.

Instead, the relationship between Alice and Sean got worse because of Molly.

'Mother didn't like Molly and I being too close. So, she held a banquet.

'If everything goes well, people who attend the upcoming birthday banquet would be the heiresses of wealthy

families around my age.'

Sean was right.

That was indeed Alice's plan.

Ricky was informed about the banquet only after the fact. He was not happy with Alice's actions.

"It'd be much better if we only have a meal together as a family. Why did you go through the trouble to hold a

birthday banquet? If Sean knows about this, you two would give each other a frosty look again when the time

comes."

Ricky did not really blame Alice for holding the birthday banquet. But, the purpose of this birthday banquet was not

simple. He knew his wife wanted to set his son up with a girl.

They had talked about this with their son multiple times. Initially, Sean was against the idea of an arranged

marriage. But, as time went on, he grew to hate the idea even more, and he would never want to be in an

arranged marriage.

The last time when Ricky was not home, he heard that Alice and Sean both ended up in a bad mood because of a

doctor called Molly.

Initially, Ricky wanted to take his birthday as an opportunity to ask his son to have a meal at home together. He also

wanted to take this chance for his wife and son to make up for their previous disagreement.

"Do you still take Sean as your son? why do you think I'm doing this? He's our son. I only want the best for him."
