all seem to revolve around matters of the heart. It appears you’re quite content with your boyfriend.”

‘The room looked and felt so empty as Theodore took it all in. Even the flowers on the balcony hung
listlessly from their stems, as if they felt the same emptiness he did.
Theodore gently picked up the clay figurine that sat on the table. He sighed as he flipped the figurine
around in his hands. There was originally a partner figurine that paired with this one, but Ariana took
hers with her. There only remained the singular, lonely one now.
