Howard lowered his head, appearing deep in thought. After contemplating for a while, he shook his

“No. Dad is not young anymore, and he was already quite old when you were born. Lauren has been

“Why would I lie to you? It’s the truth.” Howard met her gaze, looking determined.
Sheena knew him too well. Even If she knew he was not telling the truth, if he insisted on not saying,
she would not be able to get anything out of him.
So, she changed her approach. “What about Elijah? Where did he go last night?”
“How should I know where he went last night? It’s all because of his darling Jennifer that so much
trouble happened. I’m sure he’s somewhat related to it. Don’t worry about him. I locked him up in
Ocean Avenue, barring him from coming out,” Howard explained.
