Sheena reached out to take it, but Elliot quickly pulled the box away.

Elliot continued to shake his head. “Nana, you probably bought this because you were
ready to admit

mistakes and give in, right?”
He was genuinely touched by Sheena’s thoughtful gesture, and besides, he could not

“Spoiling me like this will ruin me!”

Feeling all giddy inside, Sheena took the box and headed to the bathroom to change.
“Wait for me.”
During these few minutes, Elliot was not idle either. He closed the windows and turned on
the heater to ensure Sheena would not catch a cold.
After the preparations, he sat on the edge of the bed, filled with excitement and
anticipation.
After a few minutes that felt like an eternity, Sheena emerged from the bathroom.
Elliot slowly raised his gaze, and his heart skipped a beat.
