Chapter 251 Josephine was fast asleep when she suddenly felt herself being lifted. She let out a soft whimper and instinctively curled into Ethan's embrace, adjusting herself into a comfortable position before drifting off again.
He chuckled. He found her adorable when she was drunk. If everyone in the world behaved like her when they were drunk, crrates would probably drop significantly.
When they reached the car, he carefully placed her in the back seat, draped his jacket over her, and only then did he get into the driver's seat and start the engine.
Driving slowly had its advantages. Josephine slept peacefully in the back, looking as comfortable as if she were in her own bed.

He carried her inside and found Gloria still waiting up. After a brief hesitation, he said, "Josephine's drunk. Cupstairs and help her freshen up and change into pajamas." "Of course," Gloria replied, immediately following him upstairs.
However, when Ethan tried to place Josephine on the bed, she stirred uneasily and wrapped her arms around his neck, refusing to let go.
As he leaned forward to adjust her, she suddenly tightened her grip and pulled him down. His face landed directly on her collarbone.
His whole body tensed. He immediately stood back up and turned away, striding toward the door.
After taking a few steps, he remembered to say, "Help her change." Gloria chuckled. "Alright, alright, I'll take care of it." Standing in the doorway, Ethan loosened his tie and exhaled deeply. Now that she had let Zayn go, he could finally pursue her.
The next morning, Josephine woke up to find herself in her own bed.
She sat up and looked around in confusion. The last thing she remembered was drinking on set. She couldn't remember how she got home.
After getting dressed, she hurried downstairs and spotted Ethan sitting on the couch. She rushed over and asked, "Ethan, how did I get back last night?" Ethan put down his tablet and smiled. "I brought you home." She scratched her head. "Oh... I got drunk, didn't I? I remember drinking a lot. An entire bottle of red wine. Didn't I also have a bottle of white wine?" Ethan simply smiled without answering. He knew that Josephine didn't drink any white wine. Even the bottle of red wine-she had only finished half. But he wasn't going to tell her that. Instead, he'll just let her be proud of her drinking.
"Yeah, something like that," Ethan replied.

Ethan looked at her and shook his head. "You'd better not. If it weren't er of forlast night, do you really think En you would have made it home?" Josephine had to agree, but she quickly grew puzzled. So... After bringing her home, he hadn't left? He'd stayed the night?
That wasn't good. Remembering her decision to keep her distance from him, she sat beside him with a bright smile. "Ethan, I'd like to talk to you about something." "Go ahead." "You're still in love with your first love, right?" Josephine asked.
Ethan was surprised that she suddenly brought that up. He looked at her, waiting for her to continue.
Josephine Spoke seriously. "You've
worked so hard to win her over. But if she gets upset because we're too would be close, all your efforts would wasted. So, I think we shoul@keep sdistance. What do you think?"
