Chapter 374 Helpless at Sea
Chapter 374 Helpless at Sea
Natalie was drenched in sweat, but still couldn't manage to sit up.
She stared at the woman in front of her and forced herself to calm down.
Baron knew she was missing. There was no way he would abandon her.
And she wasn’t alone.
She had her family.
Between the Stone family and Baron's strength, they would find her.

Her only task now was to stay calm, stall for time, and save herself if the chance arose. If she couldn't, then she
would hold on until rescue came.
With that thought, her panic melted away.
Her family was her shield.
She trusted Baron.
Natalie turned her ears toward the faint noises outside. Somewhere beyond the walls, waves crashed, and a
salty breeze wafted in.
They were at sea.
That explained the endless rocking beneath her.
Whoever these people were, they had power.

Beth, the woman watching her, had expected tears and hysteria. Instead, after a brief struggle, Natalie lay there

It gave Beth pause.
“What's your name?” she asked at last.
Natalie didn’t hide it. “My nis Natalie.”

Beth sat beside her, picked up a cup of water, and propped Natalie's neck with one hand. “You must be thirsty.
Drink this and rest. We haven't arrived yet.”
Natalie's throat burned like fire. She desperately needed water.
The liquid was clear and pure to the eye, but who knew what it contained?
She almost laughed at herself. What did it matter?
She had no strength to resist.
Clearly, they still needed her alive. If she wasn’t meant to die yet, then she would drink.
She parted her lips and swallowed obediently.
Beth blinked in surprise. “You're not afraid | put something in it?”
The water soothed her throat, easing the pain. Natalie even managed a faint smile. “Would fear help me? | can’t
even sit up. Struggling now would only waste what little strength | have. You've keptalive this long, which
means you still need me. As long as I'm not dying yet, why not make myself a little more comfortable?”
Beth chuckled. “You're an interesting one.”
“Thank you. If it's possible... could | have something to eat? I'm hungry.”
Natalie asked plainly.
Again Beth hesitated, but nodded. “Alright. Wait here. I'll fetch something.”
She left the room.
Alone at last, Natalie carefully studied her surroundings.
It was a converted storage cabin, once used for supplies, faintly musty.
There were no windows, only steel walls, the rocking strongest at this depth. She must be near the ship’s hull.
There was no way out.
Her body was growing increasingly uncomfortable.

Was the injection an aphrodisiac?
Natalie's heart dropped.
If that was the case, what would they do next?
Would men be sent in to violate her?
A wave of terror washed over her.
“Baron... where are you? When will you find me?”
She missed him desperately.
If she lost control under the drug’s effect... what then?
If she was defiled, could she and Baron survive it?
