“Did you set me up, Cedric?” Maia stared at him.
“My ferocious lady is about to do her thing.” He gripped her other hand and pinned both of her hands to the wall. Then, he
lowered his head and closed his lips on hers.
“Mmph?” Maia’s eyes widened. She was caught unaware by this kiss. There was joy and love in his eyes as he kissed her.
“I didn’t dare to reveal too much to the reporter. I was worried you’d get mad and make me sleep on the floor.”
