Chapter 269

Isaac arched his brow and sneered, dismissing the other man. At any rate, Patricia was his woman

now, so there was no way Zachary could snatch her from him.

The atmosphere turned awkward. As she blushed, Patricia glowered at Isaac as though telling him to

stop saying nonsense. Although the kids didn't understand what had been said, Zachary and

Josephine were adults. She didn't want others to know what had happened between them, which was

embarrassing.

Isaac shot her a charming glance and curled up his lips, looking like a handsome rascal.

Seeing that, Patricia felt her heart melting. She was besotted with this man.

While she didn't dare to continue looking at the man, Isaac knew that she didn't want him to speak any

further. He had already refuted Zachary, and whether the other man believed it or not didn't bother him.

Sylvie gazed at Isaac and Zachary, not knowing what to do, for she loved both of them.

At the sight of what was going on at the table, Josephine tried to stifle her laughter.

Outsiders might think that Patricia was a pitiful woman who had to go through a lot of hardship while

raising three kids. Unbeknownst to them, two bright men had been trying to woo her. She was far from

being pitiful, and instead, she was living her best life.

After dinner, Patricia decided to clean up the mess with Josephine in the kitchen.

When she said that she wanted to do the dishes, Josephine was astounded. "These plates look

expensive, Tricia. Why don't you prepare some fruits for the guests instead?"

Patricia couldn't help but smile. In fact, after being trained by Isaac, she no longer broke plates now.

After all, the man's things were pretty costly, so breaking an item would make her feel distressed.

In the living room, Scott and Stellan were chatting with Zachary. The little ones were pretty passionate.

Seeing how no one bothered to talk to Isaac, Sylvie decided to keep him company and told him some

jokes.

Instead of making Isaac laugh, she started cracking up with her hands on her belly. "Don't you think it's

funny, Mr. Handsome?"

Isaac arched his brow and took a look at his watch. "Tell your mommy it's 9.00PM now."

Sylvie didn't understand what he meant by that, but she knew it was her bedtime.

Zachary stroked Stellan's head and shot Isaac a look. "You know what, Stellan? Don't just let anyone

come into the house from now on."

Faced with the other man's mockery, Isaac scoffed. "I'm not just anyone. In fact, I'm going to be their

father."

Sylvie chuckled. "That's right. Mr. Handsome is not just anyone."

Zachary turned to look at the young girl. They were usually on good terms, but she was siding with

Isaac now. Do all women love people like Isaac?

Noticing his stare, Sylvie added, "Well, Zach is not an outsider either."

When Patricia stepped out of the kitchen with the fruits and heard what her daughter had said, she

frowned. Why is Sylvie trying to please both of them instead of siding with just one of them?

"Have some fruits, Zachary, President Arnold." She was standing across from Isaac and sweeping a

glance over him with a coy expression.

Isaac loved seeing how bashful she looked, for he was the one who changed her from an innocent

person to someone who knew a little more about love. He picked up a piece of strawberry with a fork

and extended his hand. "Open your mouth."

Patricia was taken aback as she shook her head, motioning for the man to stop doing it in front of so

many people.

However, a relentless Isaac said again, "Open your mouth."

Left with no choice, Patricia extended her head quickly and ate the strawberry.

Seeing that, Isaac put on a charming smile. Deluged with happiness, Patricia flashed a smile at him as

well.

When Zachary saw that, his expression turned a little colder.

Certainly, Scott saw that as well, so he darted his gaze around for a moment before saying, "It's getting

late now, Daddy. You should probably go home. Let mommy see you off."

Then, he called out to Patricia, "Daddy is going home, Mommy. Why don't you see him off?"
