Chapter 285
The young women aside all came up. Of course, it included Adeline. In fact, she was the loudest of
them all. "How dare you attack her! Do you know who she is?!"
Pietro, on the other hand, just sat back and watched the scene unfold while sipping his liquor. He loved
watching how ugly women could get from fighting for his attention. He thought it was the most
entertaining thing in the world.
At that, he glanced at Patricia with great interest. He was already captivated by her with just one look,
and sure enough, she was a rather interesting character. He'd actually like to give her a try if she could
knock all of these young women out. After all, he preferred hot chicks.
Meanwhile, Patricia took a plain gander at her half-sister. She remembered seeing her dear little sister
in that exact spring green dress fitting for a b*tch. So, she's the reason these people are giving me
trouble, huh?

Isaac back by doing this?"
The young women aside were all instantly reminded of the text Kathy had sent them—Adeline being a
liar and Isaac had long broken up with her.
Just like that, everyone's attention was diverted to Adeline, gazing at her with hints of derision. "Have
you been lying to us about being Isaac Arnold's girlfriend all this while, Adeline?"
Adeline turned grimly in response, never imagining Patricia would steer the attention toward her with
just a few words. Fortunately for her, she was wearing a mask, so no one could make out her
expression, which was nothing but discomfited.
Luckily only those at the bar were stretching their necks, or she'd be humiliated if more eyes were on
her.
Damn you Patricia?! Why can't you just die?!
With brewing animosity, she pointed toward Patricia and snapped, "She's just my family maid's
daughter! She has no right to be here at all, and she's also wearing a knockoff! She's the one you guys
should be dealing with! I'll explain what happened between Isaac and me another time."
She had to get rid of Patricia before Isaac showed up. She had to humiliate Patricia beyond hope and
make Isaac realize that woman wasn't worthy of him at all.
With that, she added, "She also has three kids, and their father is a seventy-year-old man!"
"So, you're the liar!" The other young women looked at Patricia with shock. "To think we believed you're
Isaac's new girlfriend. So, you're just a mother, huh?"
At that, they closed up on Patricia, who was less than afraid. "I suggest you stay away from me. My
fists aren't so forgiving," she warned plainly.
Meanwhile, the young woman in love with Pietro clambered up and pointed at Patricia, wailing, "Get
her!"
She was the daughter of a section chief, while the others were her father's subordinates. Hence, it
wasn't surprising that they only listened to her.

to the ground in a matter of minutes, wailing, "Help! Violence…"
Anger enveloped them as they felt humiliated as it was their first time being belabored. They had taken
lessons in martial arts in the past, and it was only them who bullied others, never the other way around.
Just then, Isaac stood between Patricia and the others, shielding her away from harm as he glared icily
at those on the floor. "I dare you guys to lay another finger on her!"
The next second, a group of bodyguards appeared to carry them out of the hall.
Adeline, who stood a distance away, grew increasingly hostile as she watched how protective Isaac
was of Patricia. Her fists were tightly clenched, but all she could do was suck it up and back off.
On the other hand, a hint of a smile flashed across Patricia's eyes as she smelled his faint crispness. It
sure felt great to be protected.
At that, she pointed toward Adeline. "She started the whole thing. She even said my necklace is a
knockoff."
Isaac looked icily at Adeline in response. "You think I'll get a knockoff?" he questioned while pointing at
the necklace Patricia was wearing.
